Well thats been the worst yet. Its small consolation that we didn't concede any more. Its hard enough to stomach a continually leaky defence, pedestrian midfield and toothless strikeforce but the lack of fighting spirit and character in the side is the most concerning aspect. Even a normally committed player like Allan Campbell seems to have lost his energy and determination. On tonight's evidence, O'Hara won't be missed in the next game or two. Hopefully, Trevor Carson's injury isn't too bad. Where do we go from here?

Right side has been as bad as left. Edit: now just lost another goal and O'Hara red carded. Why can't we just get beat? Damage limitation now and we should concentrate on our goal difference. .

If it isn't, we'll need to come from behind for the first time this season to rescue a point.

Not just our attack; the defence and midfield have been poor. Were it not for them we'd be on level terms.

Similar to many games/defeats this season. A bit of pressure but very toothless; slow predictable build up; leaky defence; and a team with clinical finishing. We've seen this movie all too often before. Watt needs to play more centrally. Looks as though we could play for 12 months and not score.

Good post Andy. He is a squad player no more no less. But he can play in midfield. One glaring weakness of our set up has been the full backs have been horrendously exposed with a lack of midfield cover. In the absence of decent wingers he could provide protection on one side or another. He also brings drive, commitment and abrasiveness to the central midfield; qualities that have been lacking badly in recent weeks, as Allan Campbell has gone off the boil.

I think he could do a job somewhere in midfield.

Same set up but Cole to replace Lang, unless the former isn't fully fit. It would be great to see Jake Caroll get a few minutes, if the course of the game allows.

Although its hard to take the loss of a 93rd minute goal and consequent loss of 2 points, I'm relieved that United only scored in the 93rd minute and not the 83rd minute. If they had done we might well be looking at the loss of yet another point.

Exactly Goggles. Timescales should have been far tighter and tables unaltered until the final, final outcome. Another shambles.

You have to question Bobby Madden's motives when he penalised Trevor Carson for taking too long, with the ball in our box. It must be many years since I've seen that particular infringement punished. Why on earth now? Will his supervisor question him about it? We should certainly ask the SFA for clarification if this particular infringement is still being punished. Out of all the thousands of football matches that have taken place you have to ask why a referee would suddenly and randomly single out this incident. Its similar, but for worse than random punishments for foul throws which we see week in week out, but are not punished.

United were always going to score so no surprise there. Only question was could we hit the net at least once and we did. A good away point. Far better Well teams have played United off the park at Tannadice and ended up losing. In my book an unexpected but welcome point.

My thoughts too.

The temporary suspension of the points award is procedural. However, this whole saga is dragging on too long, to our and Accies' detriment. Whatever the outcome, we should be compensated financially. I stand by my original opinion that the games should replayed, if and only if, the SPFL have information on the availability of players. If St Mirren and Kilmarnock have to play with 13 fit players selected from their entire squads, so be it. That way both clubs would have a sporting chance to beat us and reclaim the points as their own, albeit with drastically weakened teams. They should not benefit from the cancellations. As things stand, Stephen Robinson might adopt different tactics and/or pick different teams in the next few games depending on our league position. We are the innocent party in this saga.

Given that we're struggling to create and convert chances just now you'd think we'd concentrate on set pieces like corners and free kicks. However, that doesn't seem to be the case. This season they've been dire, last night being the most recent example. The biggest, though not sole, culprit is Liam Polworth. Whatever his faults, he's a talented footballer and I just don't get his consistently poor efforts. Surely we should be concentrating on improving these set pieces?

With you 100% on that. If you make a mistake up front or even in midfield it won't be critical but if you do it in your own box it could well be. Fortunately Aberdeen were a bit toothless up front but that was no thanks to our midfield. I thought our defence, particularly Dec and Lamie were fine tonight.

I'd have settled for a draw before the game. A poor performance from us but we probably deserved a draw.

The amount of space our midfield is giving Aberdeen is criminal.

They also badly lack pace and physicality there too.

Its a few years since we've had such a poor midfield.

Aberdeen are harder working and better organised. They are a bit too physical for us. You have to feel for Lang and Watt as they're receiving virtually no ammunition. Our set pieces are appalling.
