  1. Tough choice between Bigi and Johnson, in the end went with Johnson (I know he seemed to be everywhere but the list above says there were two of him which explains quite a lot). A lot of good performances today, it was much more like the Motherwell of last year so hopefully we can push on from here.
  2. I always get a cached copy when I log in and have to refresh the page to see the newer items, I thought it may be my browser settings but it is the same at work* and at home *Not that I sit at work on the internet all day
  3. Was he in a days when he scored?
  4. Frear in the first half. Nobody in the second.
  5. Does Stewart Auld now run a pub in Craiglang?
  6. Ultimately though, most people only buy the top, so the shorts and socks are irrelevant in terms of shirt sales. Just for clarity, I’m an old (fat) fart, so I don’t buy replicas, just occasional t-shits or polo shirts, but I do like the traditional hoop.
  7. I knew he banjoed somebody at training and got sacked, but I couldn't remember who it was. I think you are right about it being Griffin.
  8. Remember him? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-scotland-44196040/colin-mcnair-drugs-put-an-end-to-my-football-career
  9. Grimshaw for me, Bigi, Aldred McGuire and Ciftci all contributed to a very enjoyable afternoon.
  10. I just didn't tick it so that I didn't get any Hibs advertising Problem solved
  11. That was so easy even an old fart like me managed it (with only minimal help)
  12. I'm using the Greenacres bus, which involves walking the length of Sandilands Crescent, to be fair it is mostly uphill.
  13. I thought the last thirty seconds were hilarious, McGowan twisting and turning in his own half while Bigi (hopefully telling him what a dick he is) was stopping him turn towards the half way line, then, when the full time whistle went, he threw a tantrum before being dragged away by the bastion of rational behaviour that is Neil McCann.
  14. I would love to vote for the cult hero that is Kipre but I'm going with Grimshaw by a short nose. Carson, Aldred, Dunne and Campbell were all worthy of mention
  15. Nope, one point and we are safe, we cannot finish bottom as things stand but there is a sequence of results that could see us finish eleventh on goal difference.
  16. Your right, it was the original "psycho" who missed. I'm sure it was at the east terrace though. The 1986 semi (5-4 loss on penalties?) and the '91 games were definitely the covered end.
  17. I don't disagree with your general point, but I do remember a mid-eighties cup semi versus the green uglies when we had the uncovered end (traditionally known as the Celtic end ). 1984 I think, the first game finished 1-1, McAllister for us and Tommy Burns with the equaliser, Willie McVie missed a sitter late on, needless to say, we lost the replay 3-0.
  18. In the absence of a "Whole team" option I have gone with Main, but I could make a case for all eleven of the starting line up.
  19. What a great way to spend a Saturday. Eleven heroes today, we're possibly (definitely) not the most attractive team to watch, but they put in 100%. and we can't ask for any more than that.
  20. Curiously, Griffiths has saved the only one he has faced (I think). Not that I'm advocating Griffiths starting ahead of Carson.
  21. I find myself agreeing with all of that. I'd loved to have seen Scott Brown try some of his pish with Peter Millar, Stuart McLaren or Willie McVie, that would have been some laugh.
  22. Curtis Main, strength, ability and heart. No failures today but Main was a stand out for me.
  23. Could have been one of a few, Carson, Dunne, Aldred, Tait and Main all deserve mention, but Allan Campbell was outstanding today.
  24. Now, now, now, sarcasm doesn't become you.
