For anyone with a statistical leaning: Over the last 10 completed seasons, the maximum number of points achieved by the team that finished 4th was 67 (twice, 17-18 & 18-19); the minimum was 48 (21-22), and the average is 57.2. I hope you will all sleep better now. Given that Hibs and Falkirk are 5 & 7 pts behind respectively, I reckon 60 will be needed (but that is just a guess).

Priestman for me, but there were several others that would be hard to argue against, Just, Fadinger, Longello & McGinn were all outstanding. Said (AKA Captain Chaos) is an absolute pleasure to watch. McColm looked like he could slot right into our system, I'm looking forward to seeing more from him between now and May.

I think it depends what the straight red is for, e.g. a deliberate handball would apply in the next cup game, but if is for serious foul play it is the next game.

And Celtic. 😁

I went for Oscar, a very accomplished performance. Connolly, Maswanhise, Sparrow and S O'D, of the starters, deserve mention, Fadinger and Just were standouts when they appeared.

A win, another clean sheet, and that is the most disappointed I've felt leaving Fir Park this season. Funny old game, as someone once said. Still, we are in the hat for the next round so that is all that matters.

One of the most important people in the history of MFC. RIP Mr Chapman.

💩💩 Anyone else smell something???

They announced it as 800 odd I think, about 6,950 'Well fans which is quite astonishing but totally deserved given what we are witnessing on the park.

A very enjoyable and relatively stress free 90 minutes, I'm getting quite used to this. As enjoyable as Tuesday but in a different way. Man for man we were better right across the board, I can't think of a single one of their team I would want at F P. As for that referee, wow!!!!

I'm in full agreement with Orinoco, you could make a strong case for just about any of the starting XI, but Mr Just's work on and off the ball wins my vote.
-
That was the most comprehensive victory I've ever seen against them. I don't think I've enjoyed a game as much as that for years, some of the passing to play our way out of our box just left me shaking with laughter.

There should an option for JBA. I went with Elliot Watt in the end but you could make a case for Ward, O'Donnell, Just, Said or Slattery

I thought part of Dundee's approach was a bit strange. They lined up three across the edge of our 18 yard box (well, two with one inside) every goal kick we took but they just stayed there without doing any press. It was as if they had been told them where to stand but not told what to do next.

Six games without conceding a goal equals 540 minutes, the last goal was at Rugby park just after half time, if you add in all the additional time it must be 10 hours since Ward was beaten yet he hardly raises a blip in these polls. Given that we seem to have a rolling line up in front of him, I think we can safely say that JBA has a bit of an idea what he is doing.

Pretty much spot on with my view. I thought Slattery was pretty poor and I would have taken him off instead of RCC. As always, I have to admit that the manager knows better than me.
-
Tough pick today, nobody was outstanding or particularly poor. In the end I went with Fadinger, didn't waste a ball and some of his tackling was outstanding.

RIP Dixie, like others of a certain age, he was an early hero of mine and I was devastated when he left for Celtic. He also ran the Railway Tavern in Carluke when I lived there, A decent wee pub.

Stop that kind of talk at once. I'm a BBC pundit and Scottish fans would much rather have seen the free kick put out at the corner flag so that Motherwell could have tried to force a mistake. This playing football stuff is an outrage against society.
-
We could always play Longelo through the middle. Watch the highlights of his goal, when RCC goes through both Henry and Longelo are about 20 yards deeper, Longelo sprints and Hendry jogs, either could have got that goal but only the full back was prepared to make the effort.
-
Ward, both Full backs, McGinn, Watt and Fadinger were all on top form today. Priestman impressed in his cameo too. RCC impressed in patches and his "Heads-up football" for the third goal was excellent, Went with S O'Donnell, this system really suits him.
-
One shot on target yet the Falkirk keeper made two saves! I think they just make up the stats.
-
I play golf with a die hard Accies fan and he predicted in September they only had about a month till they would go bust. His timeline was a bit out but not by much. He only attends away games now, the move to Cumbernauld was a final straw for him and quite a few others. Hopefully it is administration and they can recover in some form.

A toss up between McGinn and Welsh for me. Went with the captain.

I agree that the handball law, and its interpretation generally, is a shambles. However, as far as last night goes, the shot was on target (IMHO) and Hanley's arm is at about 75 degrees away from his body, under the current rules it was a stonewaller, as was the Livi one. My real complaint is the BBC ignoring the facts to fit their narrative.
