Just heard the guy on the radio doing the commentary of our game against Celtic that the figures for Murphy are £125,000 initially, and it could/will rise to somewhere between £200,000-£250,000 after add ons and bonuses.

It sounds as though we're actually getting the type of performance that we want from the team in a game against one of the Old Firm. Hopefully we don't concede early in the 2nd half.

Unless there's reasons such as suspension or injury I don't see why you would change a team that won in the fashion that we did on Boxing day. Saying that, I don't think McCall would change a winning team for the sake of it. There must have been valid reasons for him doing so.

It's right up there with scoring goals, both of which he seems more than capable of doing. Honestly, unless the people arguing that Higdon is no good are simply in it for the lolz, I can't see what the issue is with him. He's doing the job he's asked to do, and considering the wage budget and size of our club, he's exactly the kind of guy we need.

But he is scoring though, isn't he? I thought that's what strikers were supposed to do?

I'm not sure I'd got that far, but he's certainly doing a decent job. I'm not sure exactly what kind of striker people are expecting us to bring in when we have next to no money.

Yeah, seven goals in twelve Premier League appearances thus far is ridiculous, isn't it? He's only the current 2nd top goalscorer in the league. Fucking terrible.

Are we still in the business of asking for apologies whenever the team don't perform? I saw the same kind of talk when we lost to Rangers & Celtic a few weeks back.

It's Ross County vs Aberdeen from what I can see.

Isn't his contract up at the end of this season? I think the club will wait until January or so and see how we're doing before making a decisions on whether to renew or not. No point in releasing him now, which will result in us having to pay him for the remainder of his contract, then we'll have to look for someone mid-season.

I think we'll take a point from this game, and I'd go for the same team & formation as Finlay. I have a sneaking feeling that we'll see Hateley back in midfield though.

It's still far too early in the season to be getting worried about where we'll end up come the end of the season in my opinion. The aim is still top six as far as the league goes I reckon, and I still believe we'll manage that.

Give the Facebook idea a bash mate, it's free and pretty simple to set up. You can at least then let people know when new issues are due and even ask for contributions and suchlike.

Probably Sainsburys stadium or something like that. It's quite simple really, if we do move we're getting something like St Mirren park, without doubt.

I'd be willing to bet that you'd get some people who would discover such a Facebook site that don't come here. Have you seen the amount of people who "like" the clubs page? Or the club shops page? Many more people than visit here regularly.
