  1. I'm not sure I'd got that far, but he's certainly doing a decent job. I'm not sure exactly what kind of striker people are expecting us to bring in when we have next to no money.
  2. Yeah, seven goals in twelve Premier League appearances thus far is ridiculous, isn't it? He's only the current 2nd top goalscorer in the league. Fucking terrible.
  3. Are we still in the business of asking for apologies whenever the team don't perform? I saw the same kind of talk when we lost to Rangers & Celtic a few weeks back.
  4. Indeed it is. I'll edit that post with the match times as well.
  5. An update for our TV games this season; 10/11 vs Dundee BBC Alba 18/11 vs Inverness Sky Sports 12:45pm 24/11 vs Hearts Sky Sports 12:45pm Apart from the St Johnstone & United games all of our November fixtures are televised.
  6. It's Ross County vs Aberdeen from what I can see.
  7. Isn't his contract up at the end of this season? I think the club will wait until January or so and see how we're doing before making a decisions on whether to renew or not. No point in releasing him now, which will result in us having to pay him for the remainder of his contract, then we'll have to look for someone mid-season.
  8. I think we'll take a point from this game, and I'd go for the same team & formation as Finlay. I have a sneaking feeling that we'll see Hateley back in midfield though.
  9. It's still far too early in the season to be getting worried about where we'll end up come the end of the season in my opinion. The aim is still top six as far as the league goes I reckon, and I still believe we'll manage that.
  10. Give the Facebook idea a bash mate, it's free and pretty simple to set up. You can at least then let people know when new issues are due and even ask for contributions and suchlike.
  11. Probably Sainsburys stadium or something like that. It's quite simple really, if we do move we're getting something like St Mirren park, without doubt.
  12. I'd be willing to bet that you'd get some people who would discover such a Facebook site that don't come here. Have you seen the amount of people who "like" the clubs page? Or the club shops page? Many more people than visit here regularly.
  13. Why? A Facebook page isn't going to carry entire articles, is it? It would be used to announce when new issues are due, asking for some contributions and suchlike.
  14. A few questions if you don't mind mate; 1. Where is this fanzine advertised? I've seen it mentioned on here when a new issue is due, but nowhere else. 2. Why haven't you at least got a Facebook page up & running for it? It's free, and would raise awareness. You'd have a potential audience of hundreds who will know when a new issue is due, and also a chance to advertise for some new articles from new writers.
  15. Be under no illusion, if we do move it'll be to a stadium similar to the ones that other Scottish clubs our size have. If given the choice I'd rather we patched up the current stadium. It holds a lot of history, having housed the club for almost 120 years. Leaving all that behind for some half-arsed flatpack stadium that'll likely be named after a fucking supermarket or something is not a decision to be taken lightly. If we have to spend money on either a move or a renovation job on two of our stands I know what I'd prefer.
  16. I thought they could have organised the stadium tours a bit better. There was a huge queue of people who thought it was the line to actually go on the tours, but you were supposed to give your name and get allocated a time slot apparently? I waited in said line for 20 odd minutes then fucked off. Got a few items scanned in for the memorabilia thing, but I thought the event was terribly run if I'm being honest.
  17. Is there an actual Facebook page for the fanzine?
  18. To provide enough power & lighting to evacuate the stadium safely.
  19. It didn't fail, it just doesn't produce enough power to maintain the entire stadium.
  20. According to the club themselves the backup generator doesn't produce enough power to maintain the game, only to power the emergency lights etc. Smoke was the generator kicking in.
  21. Apparently a power failure outside the stadium is responsible?
  22. Even if the online format isn't appealing, you maybe ought to at least get a basic website & Facebook page up and running for it? Then more people would be aware of it, and more would buy it online (all you need is a paypal account) and possibly at the stadium as well. Awareness is the key. With Facebook being free I find it astounding that any business or enterprise wouldn't make use of it.
