  1. At present they show highlights of all of our games after they've been played. They seem to have the goals from our games before the BBC highlights go up as well, which is quite good.
  2. The current memorial is fine in my eyes, but if the club themselves wnated to put up a statue at the front of the O'Donnell stand I doubt there'd be too many complaints.
  3. I think if it delivers what the family were looking for you can't really ask for much more. Well done to all involved.
  4. An advocate of the Socialist Premier League then?
  5. I have to say that I've found the service to be pretty excellent thus far. I've had zero problems with any videos or audio.
  6. That would be quite cool actually. Would be good if someone could get them made up in bulk and sold them or something.
  7. Between £10-£15 for adults seems like a fair price to me, and a fiver for under 16's. I'm not sure if that will see attendances rise considerably mind you, but there you go...
  8. That may be true, but this campaign is specifically addressing the proposed bill by the SNP.
  9. I may have missed something here, but isn't this campaign about opposing the new legislation that the SNP Government are trying to force through? I never knew it was a campaign against laws that are currently in place (and perfectly adequate in my opinion)? No one is complaining about the powers that the police currently have to combat sectarianism, they're complaining about a draconian piece of legislation that will see football fans up & down the country hit with ridiculous charges for next to nothing.
  10. There's already sufficient laws in place to combat any sectarian problem our game has. We don't need new laws, we need the authorities to grow balls and use the powers they have already to deal with sectarianism.
  11. If anyone here is looking for a free ticket, I may still have mines. Will know for sure by Wednesday.
  12. I wonder if they'll break with the habit and not make moves for McCall if & when Brown gets his P45
  13. You think this campaign, and others like it, are point scoring exercises against the SNP? What would be the basis for such actions? Are we all Labour Party members?
  14. Coming back with the Old Firm example would be "fucking ridiculous" if it weren't actually true. This isn't an opinion held by a few bitter 'Well fans because their friends got tossed out of the game against Aberdeen, it's a fact that's been proven by photographic evidence and that has been mentioned by fans of non-Old Firm clubs up & down the country. As much as you're allowed to point towards the rules, others are also allowed to point out that those same rules aren't been upheld in all instances.
  15. Exactly. I live in hope that such actions eventually lead to a serious debate over the idea of standing sections at football. The harsh truth is, if everyone obeyed the rules and stayed in their seats the powers that be would point to that as an example of there being no need for such a facility at the games. As long as the fans in question are posing no threat to fellow supporters I can't really see why any right-minded fan would be against them to be honest.
  16. You should have known that there's no place for dancing at a gig in our modern, safe society.
  17. Ha Ha! The mascot from Mexico '86! That brings back memories!

  18. As was said earlier, I put the idea to the original poster about changing the thread. The discussion was basically two pages of Pangloss and others talking about the legalities of standing up/sitting down at football games, and was in danger of drifting off-topic. When the campaign kicks off properly it'll be worth having a thread that isn't clogged up with shite.
  19. This seems to be the general consensus, doesn't it? Whilst the lads who were standing may have technically been breaking the rules, it appears they weren't actually doing any harm, and the stewards saw a chance to flex their muscles.
  20. I've renamed the topic, so you can untwist your frillies there Brazilian.
  21. Will we be able to download the podcasts? That's one gripe I've always had with the Wishaw Press Motherwell podcast. Being able to listen to it whilst on the move would be nice.
  22. A name I've heard mentioned a few times now. A standout in the squad?
  23. Having spoken to the original poster of the thread I've split the Aberdeen crowd trouble talk into a seperate thread. Let's keep this thread for discussing the campaign. Cheers.

    Next Six Games.

If we take fourteen points from those games I'll be more than happy. We should be looking to win all of our home games, and take at least a point from our away games. I know the chances of us doing that are slim, but I feel we are playing well enough to at least believe we can achieve that target. A crucual aspect to the rest of our games in 2011 is the fact that of the six games, four of them are against the clubs sitting directly behind us. Good results against Hearts, Dundee United, St Mirren & St Johnstone will set us up perfectly for the 2nd half of the season.
  25. The first of two home games in under a week. Usually I'm a bit wary of playing United, but with the way things are going for us at present I find it hard to see us taking anything but three points from this game. That means we'll end up with a 1-1 draw no doubt!
