  1. Does anyone know how many of them were actually in the main stand? Roughly?
  2. In an ideal world, yes, but money talks and the club won't be willing to give up that revenue, even if it does inconvenience our own fans.
  3. I wonder what the chances are of Hughes being signed up on a short-term deal by this game are?
  4. Oh, I wouldn't be happy with it, but if it had to happen I guess I'd have to live with it. The club may eventually go with relocating the fans in the Cooper though, so let's just wait & see
  5. In the end we were undone by a piece of skill from McCourt, simple as that. He's an impact player and he earned his wages on Sunday. An excellent performance from our lads, and hopefully we can spring on and take at least four points from our next six.
  6. I sit in the east, but would gladly take a seat in the main for the visit of the Old Firm if it helped makes matters easier. Not sure how many of my fellow east stand-ers would agree though.
  7. I've laughably seen it said that Celtic fans using this phrase is supposed to be like black people using the 'N' word. Basically, if they use it, it's okay. If anyone else uses it, it's not.
  8. I've heard this from numerous Celtic fans today. I wonder what they expect us to do? Just stand back and give them space to play? Our two central midfielders put down their markers with hard, but fair, tackles early on. Forrest started bright and disappeared once he'd been put on his arse a few times. Job done in my opinion. I've heard Lasley being singled out for particularly harsh treatment from them. I personally thought he was all over the park yesterday, winning tackles and making sure that Celtic got zero space to play. I'd be willing to wager that Celtic would be in a better position if they had a few players with the committment of Lasley & Jennings.
  9. I know we have an international weekend before this game, but I thought we could get the discussion started early anyway. After yesterdays game with Celtic I have to say that I'm more than confident that we can come away from this game with at least a point. I doubt McCall makes any changes unless he's forced to through injury, so we should only really see Clancy drop out through suspension. Hutch should be good to come in though, so there isn't too much to worry about. Apart from that, I'd go with the same line-up as yesterday.
  10. An afternoon that will hopefully start with us seeing Celtic drop points in Inverness and then us beating Aberdeen, sending us clear into 2nd again
  11. Agreed. I think it's fair to say that a top 4 finish shouldn't be out of the question, and certainly what we should be aiming for now.
  12. I've had no problem with the site at all since the day it started. Must be a problem with your browser or something.
  13. Look, it wasn't my intention to take a pop at anyone. It may have seemed that way, and that may be because I typed up the post shortly after coming home when I was still hyped up. If anyone is offended by it, I apologise. I felt that the team gave a very good account of themselves yesterday, and felt that when they were joined by the manager in the centre circle after the game they deserved as close to a full house of applause as was possible. It fucking killed me to see our players applaud a half-empty stand whilst "the greatest fans in the world" are still there to a man applauding that shower of imposters they call Celtic players.

Interesting stuff today. Not seen the vote split as much as this for a while.
  16. They'll be getting fuck all east stand.
  17. Yeah, looking across into the main stand I felt a bit sorry for the 'Well fans stuck in there with that lot.
  18. If we secure a top four finish and big Higdon finishes as our top scorer this thread will be very useful for those who are badmouthing him to look back in embarrassment. I'm not quite sure what kind of striker they expect us to pick up on a free at the wage level we can offer? He's scoring goals and we're doing well. What else can you ask?
  19. He was getting the usual shouts about not jumping for high balls again from the east stand.
  20. He's trying to create that siege mentality that served them so well last season. You can't really blame him though, he needs something to keep him in the job.
