  1. After the past two games and how they've went for us you have to think our lads will be feeling at least a little dejected. I fancy Celtic to win this one at a canter, no penalties or red cards required. Fuck them, leave them to it. They can sit there with their league titles and their unbeaten run that absolutely no one except them gives a fuck about.
  2. Reckon that may give Fisher his chance to stake a claim in the side, along with someone new coming in hopefully.
  3. Exactly. If they quashed our appeal for that penalty kick I'd love to hear their explanation. Also, it would be another iffy appeal decision we could add to our collection. As it stands now we'll never know.
  4. Then let them do that, after all he'll be playing in the EPL next season so it's no loss. Retrospective action or not, it would still allow for the penalty incident and the referees incompetence to be called into question and challenged.
  5. Veiled digs are all well & good, but the truth is that the Celtic fans and the media won't give a fuck about his digs. They'll simply report that we didn't appeal the decision, which suggests that we know Kipre was guilty.
  6. Do we know that for certain? The more I think about us not appealing the more I think maybe Cedric has told Robinson that he did touch him, albeit ever so slightly? Let's be honest, if it were as open and closed as we all seem to think we'd be appealing it, surely?
  7. Not really, that's not much of a reason to be honest. Kipre won't be playing Premiership football next season, if at all. It makes sense financially, but it does leave us open to the fact that if we think Kipre was wrongly sent off we should be appealing. If not, then shut the fuck up and get on with it, really.
  8. It seems that way, doesn't it. His team are streets ahead of everyone else financially, their closest rivals are virtually dead in the water and he's making comments like that? Like you say, it seems to come with the job these days.
  9. I used to quite like Rodgers as well, thought he was a decent manager at Liverpool and always seemed respectful. Now he seems to have turned into an odious wee creep.
  10. I can't disagree with any of the points you make, I'm just thinking from the perspective of the club. There has to be a reason why they haven't appealed, and the only one I can think of is the financial aspect.
  11. Best to pick & choose our battles wisely, especially when they cost us money. This is one battle that, even if we win it, won't make much difference. Let's see what the fallout is from the next two games. We may need that appeal money for then.
  12. Like I said, I'm no finance guru, I know next to fuck all about shares. This just looks like a novel way of getting more people to buy into the Society from my point of view.
  13. I'm far from a financial whizz, but it looks to me like this "share issue" isn't actually a share issue at all, it's basically a printed certificate costing £10, which you are free to sell on for £10 later on if you wish. No dividends, no financial rewards or incentives. Aren't those factors the very backbone on which shares are issued? Not that I'm saying there should be any financial rewards or dividends, but surely this isn't a share issue at all?
  14. As I said before, Thistle can manage to do this, so is it really outwith our capabilities? It would likely be a decent little earner, especially from fans overseas. Think most clubs charge UK-based fans £4.99 or something for all the miscellaneous content plus delayed coverage of the full 90 minutes, and overseas fans a tenner or something for the same coverage except the games are streamed live. An overseas address and bank account are required for the live streaming service.
  15. It's the live games and delayed coverage that's the main attraction though, isn't it? Especially for overseas fans. They don't even need to put too much into it, the new EFL iFollow package is basically one camera angle filming the whole game with no commentary or replays.
  16. Couldn't we just copy Thistle? I assume they're not paying a fortune or using anything that would be outwith our reach?
  17. This is something I've wondered for a while. In the past it was only Celtic and Rangers who had their own TV channel, but now we're seeing the likes of Hibs and even Thistle with a subscription channel on their websites? They offer live access to their games for overseas fans, and delayed coverage for UK based fans (entire 90 minutes are made available from midday the next day). Anyone know why we can't be doing something like this?
  18. Avoid relegation, and try to push for top six if possible. A cup run would be nice as well.
  19. £800,000 for Moult would be more like it.
  20. It's definitely a step down financially, but at the end of the day he's sitting in the stands with the 50,000 fans, not playing in front of them all that much, is he?
  21. If anything we should get more for him in January, as that's the time when clubs who are under pressure tend to blow their cash a bit, especially English clubs.

    Lionel Ainsworth

I'm not sure we can really afford a luxury player like that, as much as it's great having him when he scores one of his fantastic goals. Probably best that he moves on.
  23. You've mentioned Moult being sold twice now, but i've heard absolutely nothing to suggest this is the case. In fact, wasn't it said at the recent Society meeting that we're in a position where we don't have to sell anyone in January? If that's the case, why would we let go of our top striker mid-season? It would make no sense unless a mental offer came in, especially considering he has something like another year and a half on his current deal, doesn't he?

    Belic

Not too sure the idea of taking players on blind faith is a good way to go right enough. Had McGhee seen this lad play previously? Or did he just go with what he was told by someone outwith the club?
