  1. Right guys calm down , if ever there was a time to not let a thread deteriorate into a slagging match this is it . Joe Wark as a man and player -RESPECT a true Motherwell legend.
  2. Good win, pity we weren't better informed of these games I was of work today and could have went along and watched the match , sno rocket science is it even a wee mention on Twitter would help.
  3. Well I am glad we got Rangers ,the last time we beat them in a one off cup game was back in the early 60,s at Ibrox 5-2 I think .I was only a nipper back then and never saw the game but I think Ive been at almost every cup game against them since, from the 2-2 game at firpark and the 4-2 defeat in the replay at Ibrox in the early 70,s up to the present day. I long for the day when I finally see us knock them out a cup .
  4. Two out of five now three to go. Next up the Accies.
  5. Almost a complete set of new players from last season Ricky ,truth be told they got of to a better start than was probably expected .Would imagine it could be an up and down season for a YOUNG under 19 side although two 5-0 defeats will be hard to take.
  6. Well thats one out of five ,four to go.
  7. I was thinking more along the lines of an interview with the gaffer and one of the players after a game ,I'm sure we could do that and put it on the site we have at the moment ,doesn't have to be live just upload and put it on the site later .Just like to add that this isn't a dig or a criticism of anyone its just an idea.

  9. Word is Nick wasn't all that sure about a move up to Scotland but I'm sure that's the same with a lot of English based players when you consider how footie north of the border is viewed and covered by the English media. Most players who do venture north seem to enjoy the experience .Lucas Jutkiewicz would loved to have stayed at Motherwell but we just couldn't afford him ,and I fancy it will be much the same with Nick Blackman, but you never know .
  10. Another o.g yeeeeeeeees we will take it.
  11. Hope Im wrong but this sounds familiar, one up should be more ,second half crumble. Come on Well dont slip up again.
  12. The "Reserves" (for want of a better word) went down 2-0 to St Mirren at Dalziel today. Paul McQuade & Jamie McCluskey scored for Saints... fae twitter.
  13. Oct 19 2010 by Paul Behan, Paisley Daily Express BUDDIES boss Danny Lennon will give his fringe players a chance to shine today when the Saints squad head to Lanarkshire for a bounce game. Motherwell will provide the opposition this afternoon as Lennon looks to keep his players ticking over ahead of this weekend’s trip to Tynecastle.
  14. I was under the impression the official site was due a revamp ,and what about Well[Flow] t.v there are lower league teams wi there own t.v web page wheres oors.
  15. Alright yesterdays match is now history so looking at the fixture list we have five games coming up that are going to set us up nicely if we do well in them .Three of our next four league games are at home Dundee Unt and Hamilton at home then were away to Inverness then home again [midweek fixture] to St Johnstone ,we also have our cup game against Dundee United again at firpark to look forward to. They are all win-able I suppose, but can we do it .
  16. Young Jordan Halsman scored another 2 goals yesterday for Annan athletic in there 4-1 defeat of Albion Rovers ,Steven Lawless played from the start for Rovers and Steven Meechan came on in the second half as a sub.
  17. Spot on Matt I know what your saying ,sack Brown.
  18. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/9099100.stm Thought the end of the interview was interesting where Graig talks about the belief of some players.
  19. Great post mate ,I remember speaking to an old Dundee United player a few years back and he admitted that some players have lost the game before they even get on the park.
  20. Motherwell manager Craig Brown: "We go to Ibrox with no inferiority complex. I firmly believe that we can go to Rangers and take something from the game. "We have a terrific record away from home and it's something we would like to maintain. "We will play our normal game. We have a system, and that system is organised but allows our players freedom to create. "We won't change that for the game against Rangers.
  21. Easier said than done mate ,well at least in the short term ,weekend shot to bits, hand me the VODKA quick.
