  1. Meant to mention...saw some of our younger fans kicking a car light in on the way back to my car after the game. One too many babychams methinks. Not cool though.
  2. Grimshaw was very guilty of that as well as Pearson to an extent. Which makes me think the game plan was all about pushing it to the wings. Up top we could have been a bit more direct at times and taken a shot on for sure.
  3. Aye Law had a good game. His wee drag back in the first half to make space and go past someone then 2 more players to then make a pass to the winger was class! Fairly solid in defense also.
  4. Thought Robinson did well! A lot of good knock downs. I dont remember him getting caught offside loads of times though? Ainsworth certainly did. So did Skippy I think. Could be wrong...probably am!
  5. Disagree with a few on here. Thought it wasna decent game, fairly even and we edged it with the better chances. If you think there is no improvement between that and the Baraclough team then I despair. Grimshaw and Chalmers struggled but the rest played well to varying degrees I thought.
  6. Links: http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2015/10/30/meet-the-manager-again/ http://www.thewellsociety.co.uk/2015/10/30/qa-night-monday-16th-november/ Questions can be submitted via email also. So, yep, it's a good chance to to get all the questions/queries out there. I am going to try and get along myself and see what is said.
  7. Bet365 has us as slight favourites now for todat (6/4). It was Killie at the start of the week.
  8. It's an article from a tabloid, online written to generate hits on a website. Wouldnt get too worked up about it chaps. The whole 'bois' name was talked about on here too when it started out too and a lot deemed it as a bit silly.
  9. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/laughable-brilliant-scottish-footballs-attempts-6723439#rlabs=61%20p$6 Wee mention for the bois in here. Grenade thrown...
  10. Aye - I could vaguely remember something happening and trouble outside the ground being reported or something. I would imagine last seson would be less and more like the 2012-13 stats.
  11. Maybe it is because we had more wanks in our support than Hearts/Aberdeen that season? Or one specific incident that boosted the numbers that year? EDIT: In fact it would seem the latter perhaps....."The increase in charges in North Lanarkshire between 2012-13 and 2013-14 was largely because of two fixtures where there were numerous charges (Motherwell versus Celtic on 6 December 2013, when there were 24 charges;"
  12. I think McGhee will play, more or less, the same team that finished up in Aberdeen. Dont think we should read too much into the comments about giving players who havent played game time. If anything I think it will be 20/30mins time off the bench for the likes of Taylor, Leitch, Thomas etc. Would be very surprised to see Leitch right in to start when be wasnt even on the bench last game. Especially when Grimshaw and Pearson finished the last game in there well.
  13. Good thing is we dont know what formation or players will be playing so neither will Killie. If it was me I would go Ripley Law Kenned Mick Chalmers Ainsworth Grimshaw Pearo Johnson Skippy Fletcher Robinson and Thomas to be given a good run out too.
  14. I think he will stick with Pearson and Grimshaw in the middle like it ended on Saturday. Wouldnt be surprised to see 1 or 2 of Robinson, Skippy, Thomas start.
  15. Aye, I had read that this morning. Alleged payment of £185k via Derek Day, an agent, to Barry Hughes, who is unlicensed and says he isnt an agent. Erwin changed agents just before the move. Associating with Barry Hughes was the first mistake. Similar thing happened when McCormack moved from Leeds.
  16. It's an odd one. Played 45 against Leeds and then never seen again. Maybe just so far out the picture. Probably the way Clarky is going too. EDIT: Bolton? Aye, Bolton. Not Leeds.
  17. If McGhee can get Law and Grimshaw playing like he did up at Aberdeen then you will soon change your mind about those 2 at least.
  18. Foul or not it still sickened them. Yas. That's the main thing.
  19. BBC sportscene included all the key moments and clear cut chances but cut out some of the half chances/nice build up play we had. I would say it was a fair enough reflection given their time constraints.
  20. Saturday was as close to getting 2 goals, without the help of an OG, in the league that I have seen all season. Hopefully we can take that in to the Killie game.
  21. Therein lies the problem - opinion of the referee. Life was simpler when it was the old rule.
  22. I conclude my previous post as drivel aftwr watching it on sportscene. First one off, second one on!
  23. Right everyone. Reconvene here with supporting evidence at 11pm :-)
  24. Personally I think Pawlett is active. But 99.9% of the times that you see a player in that type of position the ref rules inactive unless they touch or go for the ball or an opposition player moves for them. It is a silly rule like I said...far too open to interpretation for a split second decision. Still think he is just on when the actual ball is hit. If it was us I would be saying on.
