  1. Reid, Moore and Ferguson come back to us on the 4th as well. Will be interesting to see if Mcghee gives them a chance or just extends their loans again
  2. Interesting point Andy P and maybe something in it. For me I don't really get that worked up when we play Accies or Airdrie. I just don't see them as 'proper' derbies/rivalries as in the most part since I started watching us in the early 90s we haven't really played them regularly. More relevantly we have obviously played Accies more but still does not really do it for me. That said I would like to dish out a proper humping. Probably go with the same team. Can't argue with the way we are going about business. Would be nice to have a cushion with 20 to go and maybe see Thomas and Faddy.
  3. Looking for a win here to keep the unbeaten run under Faddy going!
  4. Pearo for me. Ran the midfield, got stuck in, created and got forward...and a goal. If I could choose 2 I would have went for Ripley who was also superb.
  5. Game was fairly even I thought until they lost Davidson. We then took control and got our goals. Second half they started better but we contained them from about 65 mins fairly well I thought and I didn't really think the result was in doubt. No real bad performances for me. Ripley excellent in goals and 3 great saves, Hall and Mick excellent, Pearo and Grimshaw the same with Skippy putting in another great performance. @MelvinBragg - I didn't think Fletcher was injured. Just not selected? Much like Kennedy, Robinson. We have a fairly large squad so players are going to miss out. I don't think I would have had any of the 3 mentioned above over the bench we had today.
  6. Online radio commentary tonight for those not here. Link I twitter / shout box
  7. Perth is an hour away. Getting a decision 2 hours before kick off is completely fine in my opinion given the changeable conditions. Of course there are always going to be people travelling from further afield .But given the pitch was 100% playable at about 2.30ish and then we have a deluge until about 4 bringing it in to doubt I think the club have been proven they did the right thing this time around. If the ref had been there an hour earlier he might have scrapped it!
  8. Well society tweet - Ref on pitch at the moment
  9. What's to say he isnt having travel difficulties also?
  10. We have been saying its been looking fine all day (and to be fair it has...here in Uddingston anyway) and its up to the club to ask the referee to come in early. 2pm - 4pm seemed much heavier than forecast. Given Perth is an hour away I think its fine to leave it as late as 6ish for a call off. Really want to be going to a game tonight all the same!
  11. Pitch will have taken a fair bit of rain last night. However it's not really rained properly here since about 8am. Original forecast was heavy rain all the way to afternoon which has now also disappeared. Wind will dry it up enough. Game will be fine I think (crosses fingers)
  12. 1. We don't need a striker on loan. 2. We certainly don't need one who is basically only played well in a handful of games in his only full season and hasn't played regularly since May.
  13. Ripley has agreed to stay on. McGhee mentioned in the press conference before Celtic. Still talking to Man U about Grimshaw and sounds like Taylor is offski although McGhee didn't explicitly say that.
  14. I'd be fine with whoever gives us the most cash.
  15. Think Hutchison had his say on the current sponsors in one of the interviews/videos/q&a's a while back If memory serves he didnt really think Cash Converters fitted with the new ethos of the club but couldnt get out of the deal? Not sure how much of his statement was true/personal feelings only/said without knowing what else was out there. But, I would be surprised to see a gambling/booze/pawn shop/loan company type sponsor.
  16. Thistle beat them 3-0 in October. Hibs beat them 3-0 in November in the cup. They have, also, only kept 1 clean sheet in 21 games! Conceding 2 or more in 13! They are pish.
  17. Some nerves in here. I have a Utd supporting mate and he sees nothing but a defeat coming this weekend. So that's enough for me! 3-1 us. Moult, Skippy and Pearo!
  18. Skippy and Pearo also astute signings that have proved a success.

    Celtic Motm

Lots of contenders. Though Marvin gave them a torrid time and also defended really well so gave it to him. Skippy, Moult, Pearo, Las and Mick all had great games.
  20. Faddy signs. Win at Celtic Park. Talisman.
  21. Watched the game online - completely deserved. Proud we went and played 2 up top and pushed rather than sitting in. A lot of good performances in the team today. Ya dancer!
  22. David Ferguson also out on loan to Annan mind. Another centeal defender who was close to the first team (ish).
