Whatever the reason - we missed him yesterday. Lacked a football player in the middle of the park to take it on, put his foot on the ball and play a killer pass. Hopefully back at Ross County.
I'd agree with that. Add Newell to the list who we stated as signed for U20 but with a view to push for the 1st team.
The newly updated first team page on the site gives a view as to who Robinson thinks is going to be part of it too I'd imagine.
From the bits and pieces the manager has said, I think we will see the likes of MacLean, Campbell and McMillan out on loan for experience. Especially given the signings we've made.
Certainly up for debate.
As others have said above, Heneghan for me, if fit goes ahead of McManus. I'm just assuming he's not ready.
Main point, I guess, is I'd do whatever I could to ensure McHugh starts in midfield.
Agree. McHugh has to start in midfield.
If McManus is fit enough he goes in for me. As many people say...he only raises his game against Rangers...

Very hard to predict.
Us - Playing nice enough football. Scored 12 goals in 4 games yet still feels short up front without a fully fit Moult. Defence look decent but could argue not been tested.
Rangers - utter mince in the Europa League but appear to have done well in the recent friendlies. Might mean something...might not mean a thing.
I'm going 2-1 'Well. Kipre with a back post header to cement is cult hero status.
I can give you 4 off the top of my head we've just beat.
A midweek trip up north to a premiership team is the things cup draws are made of all the same.
Unlike most, I really enjoyed yesterday's game.
Thought we controlled it against quite a tidy side who just sat in.
Goalkeeper did nothing but catch a couple of crosses and organise. Can't ask for more.
Defence were never troubled.
Losing Hammell and moving McHugh back rocked us a bit for 10 mins but overall killed the effectiveness of our midfield. Both defensively and in supporting attack. Playing with 1 striker and piling crosses in is all good but we need a couple of the midfielders pushing forward more and creating and taking quality chances. In the first half we failed to do that.
Wing play was good and Frear was put most potent threat in 1st half. Cadden and Tait also very effective.
Moult did ok but clearly not sharp, as you would expect.
Impressed with Newell when he came in. Fisher bowed a couple of great link up plays, layed off two cracking balls to the side and could have had a goal. He did lose the ball a couple of times though and looks less than match sharp too.
Hoping Moult starts today. Robinson seemed to be saying he might on the press I was reading this morning online. I'd imagine Heneghan is going to be out by the comments so I think we will see

I get the jist but Dylan Mackin was never making it and if Blyth was fit I am pretty sure we would have moved him on. Unfair comparison in my opinion. We've no choice but to keep paying Blyth for now and you could sense how annoyed the manager is about that in the YouTube interviews.
Agree on the defenders. I don't think we should ever be getting youth defenders on loan unless they are a proven quantity. Young defenders will make mistakes and I'd rather or own made them than for another team when we won't see the benefit.
