  1. You seem to be having a mild breakdown CMWellFan.
  2. Got it, not entered, but planning to.
  3. 4 of possibly 6 preseason matches announced on the site. Keeping it in Scotland and looks like a split squad for 2nd/3rd July. http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2016/06/07/first-pre-season-friendlies-confirmed/
  4. Maybe supported by the club in doing so...
  5. I loved the tennents Sixes when I was a we lad.
  6. It still very early and its not even been 4 weeks since we played the last gae! Not many teams have signed anyone yet really. I'd expect news this week on 2 or 3 re signing/not resigning
  7. The players yet to sign up are now not getting paid, as of 1st June. So, with that, McGhee back from Scotland duty and players returning from hols reckon we will start to see some movement this week.
  8. I've managed to take this well off topic by mentioning baseball haven't I? Haha.
  9. But yet you pull out the negative than any positive you could pull out and discuss. Selective discussion.
  10. Yeah agree, for me personally. Clearly there are bad experiences everywhere, however.
  11. McGhee says no, because Skippy likely to sign up again http://www.motherwelltimes.co.uk/sport/local-sport/mcghee-we-won-t-be-signing-faissal-1-4138847
  12. All I know is it cost me 16 dollars to get into the Baseball and it was grand. You could also buy plenty other tickets from there ranging up to 192 dollars!
  13. The beer was pretty expensive in the baseball but ooft it was gid on a hot night to have a couple at my seat. Defintely positives can be taken from how the SF Giants in the MLB did it that night. Certainly from my experience anyway.
  14. I think you are right. But we are as likely to lose to Stranraer as we are to Annan or even East Stirlingshire. The fact is we should be beating League 1 and League 2 sides no bother. But we will see!
  15. Well there's one I disagree with. But it's not about what I disagree with. It's about you being negative. You could for example have said it's positive we have home tie against Rangers...but you didn't and chose to say it's a negative Rangers have a home tie against Stranraer, and a negative we have an away tie against them. Selective discussion points to suit your clear agenda with the format.
  16. I was over in San Francisco recently and the whole experience at the baseball game we took in was simply superb. Night and day to here. Tickets alone it was so easy...bought online, downloaded the MLB app, linked up the ticket to show a barcode and it got scanned at the door by a friendly steward. No queue tonget ticket, no paper, no need for a big turnstile and squeezing in, no queues of any note as there were loads of stewards with scanners and in in less than a couple of mins. That included being searched too. You could also actually change your seat right up to you went in.
  17. Until.we know the figures we can't be sure. But I think it's safe to say printing 3000 odd books even for a few years will be cheaper than the outlay require to install everything to do with smartcard season tickets. I would like it to happen but can't see it anytime soon.
  18. 100% agree. Ya Bezzer, not surprised you have picked something out as everything so far you have mentioned has been negative about this new format.
  19. Probably would long long term but having money up front to invest is another story....
  20. Good fixtures. If this new league format is all a fix then long may it continue.
  21. Down time at pre-season tripa happens all the time..whether it's foot golf or playing pool or lying about looking at your phone. You can't train 100% of the time. The mistake he club made was filming it for some laughs....alongside the other videos showing us actually training.
  22. Sure goals went through McManus and he made errors buts so did Law....so did Hammell....so did Laing/Kennedy/Hall....so did the goalies. We got what I expected more or less when McManus signed. We got the player who wasn't in the Scotland setup anymore and was playing for Bristol City and had not played a full season in a couple of years. I didn't expect the McManus who burst onto the scene at Celtic and captained the national team. He has his faults but I think he does an important job. With a steady team mate beside him at LB and CB not changing every few week I think we would see even more.
  23. Varies wildly from top to bottom of the setup. This is an inresting read though, obviously open to challenge - http://stv.tv/sport/football/1321105-celtics-average-wage-bill-is-25-times-higher-than-ross-countys/
  24. I thought we said it wasn't democratic though because people had already been picked for the board positions before?
