A bit disappointing they couldn't start selling the tickets tomorrow as I, like many others,don't live in Motherwell and work during the day. Maybe we're not getting the tickets in time but it would have been a lot more convenient to get them tomorrow.

Apologies but I genuinely don't know if this comment is tongue in cheek or not. Are people paid to do the commentary if it's not already part of their club media job? If so, I wouldn't imagine it's a lot. Did Graham do a lot of work bringing in money for the society? I don't listen to the commentaries in case it's in reference to his comments made on them.

Robinson was on the radio saying Cadden and Ciftci weren't ready for another game after three so quickly together.

I take it we accepted the high sell on % as it was never really in our plans or expectations to sell him. It also allowed us to get him for a nominal fee.

To play devil's advocate,by that argument it would fulfil the club's policy to sell him to Celtic.

A fee of £1m was suggested at the time which sounded unbelievable.

As we paid a small fee for Carson, is it likely he'll have a sell-on clause?

I think Celtic would only really want him to cover for Gordon while he's injured so probably won't want to spend that much. I can see them bringing someone in from England on loan I instead.

IF this figure of £200k is correct then I'd be a bit surprised by Celtic as I have had the impression that they've been more realistic over the last few years and shown Scottish clubs a bit more respect in their dealings with them. On the other hand, Rangers continue to make derisory offers to unsettle players to the extent even Kris Boyd has a go at them.

I would say the footage rather than the pundits confirmed it for me. A penalty for us would have been soft, just because we've conceded penalties for minimal contact before doesn't mean we want to go down that route.

They also confirmed Hearts should have had a penalty but we've certainly been on the end of some poor decisions ourselves this season so swings and roundabouts.

I didn't vote for him but thought McHugh had a good game. He cut out a lot of balls just in front of the defence,particularly headers stopping the ball getting to the forwards. It's what he was there to do and he did it well.

Has there been any confirmation Fishers departure? Is it a loan deal or permanent move?

While he didn't get many chances,he really didn't take those chances when he got them.

Was there not talk from Robinson about us still wanting to bring in one more player? Was it a pacy winger?

I really don't see us dropping Dunne after his last two games which have been some of his best performances albeit his distribution is poor at times (although he's not been helped by the lack of options in the last two games).

Hopefully Cadden will be able to play part of the game as he seems to be able to stroll past Van Der Weg almost at will.

I can't remember the Accies goalkeeper making any saves (although stats on BBC have us down as having 4 shots on target which may include the two goals) whereas Carson had a few great saves in the first half. Delighted with what turned out to be a comfortable win but I felt we were a bit fortunate to be two up at half time. Ciftci had some wonderful touches and showed a lot of promise for when his fitness levels catch up.

I would have thought four at the back from that line up unless Tait is pushed further forward.

Even worse is they've both got more than Joe Wark.

Sometimes that sort of player just needs a couple of early goals to start enjoying his football again and buy in to the squad spirit. Or he might not get on with someone and turn out to be a huffy bastard! Who knows but the manager might consider it a risk worth taking?

We could have been doing with it last season.
