  1. Yeah, parking on the street is normally ok although they're getting much bigger crowds now than when we were last there.
  2. Yeah, going through is no bother on the 11am inter city but the return options are a bit strange. The 18.26 is an ok journey time but a bit early for a day out plan and the 23.14 is a bit late if I want to survive Sunday! There's other options but they take a long time due to changes. A lot more complicated than it has been in the past.
  3. I thought Thomson's reception at the Edinburgh City game was fairly reserved. I'm trying to work out whose appearance on the touchline would get most mouths foaming but nobody stands out.
  4. Possibly still worth contacting Hibs and explaining the situation.
  5. Never mind that, why wasn't the penalty a red card? I know they changed the rules to avoid sending off players making a genuine attempt for the ball but that was a clear cut red card ti me.
  6. I know he plays a different position (and some won't like the comparison) but his tackling technique reminded me of Tom Boyd in how cleanly he tackles and gathers the ball from the tackle rather than just knocking it away.
  7. I was going to ask about this as I sit in the Cooper. Similar home support to the last home game but without the queues stretching past the Cooper so I assumed it worked well. If so, credit is due.
  8. Excellent second half after a pretty even first period. Impressed by Robinson making changes to improve the quality of passing and crossing as we had athletic players in Dunne and Rose who had played alright from a battling point of view but we needed more (I'm possibly being kind to Dunne). There will be games when we need that physicality but not so much today.
  9. All this optimism gives me the fear! It's certainly a game we should be looking to win but Kilmarnock have looked a bit unlucky in some of the highlights I've seen and I don't expect there to be much between the teams. Only a last minute aberration stopped them beating Accies and they looked to create good chances against Hearts.
  10. So does the Double your Money arrangement double the amount going towards the running of the club or reduce the amount owed to Les (which I thought was the case)?

    Irn Bru Cup

Anyone gone over to Belfast for this?
  12. My memory is that Smith had a good partnership with Walker and actually scored more goals , probably because Walker was doing more setting up work. Smith probably never had the same level of service again and we benefited from the purple patch of his career.
  13. Crawford's progress seems to have stalled or even gone back the way and he hasn't really become the player everyone thought he would be. We might be interested but I'm not so sure about some of the larger clubs.
  14. Liam doesn't look too happy with signing!
  15. I think you're pushing it with £1.5m but yes, looks like we've gone about out our business pretty well. Just got to see if they can play football!
  16. I was told tonight that Leitch was training at Celtic and that was from a friend speaking to a family member. Of course that may just have been him training there so he was available to speak to clubs.
  17. Speak for yourself - I have absolutely no Jambo friends (or Hibs for that matter)!
  18. They were a lot quicker than our management team.
  19. The thing that amazes me is that Sky (or whoever else) seem to have sources, presumably the agents involved, who take time out of negotiations to divulge sensitive business dealings.
  20. They're also about to come into a good bit of money.
  21. Can't say I blame them - it looks as though they've just made a huge profit from a similar approach to us this time last year. Hopefully Cadden doesn't throw his toys out of the pram in the same way Marvin did.
  22. I don't remember this push. Who did he push and when?
  23. Big difference in the amount of money we're thinking we are due for Johnson depending on whether we sold him for £400k or £600k and whether the sell-on fee is 10 or 25%. Of course, it could be an where in between. In any case, some welcome cash towards the budget and paying off our loans.
  24. One what? Player coming in? Bid in for Heneghan?
  25. They had over 8000 at their last home game. Their cup run has really got the town behind them with a strong feelgood factor - this vote will be right up their street.
