A group of us went straight to a stag night after that - it was quite a night!
-
That's the same reason we have to charge the same for the Cooper Stand as we do the South Stand.
-
They have a relatively small number of reporters so would doubt they could attend all press conferences. If they've got specific questions I'm sure they could ask them in a separate interview.
-
Great result. Sounds as though we dug in as we tired and great to see the squad being used. Hopefully Hartley's injury isn't serious.

We need to be asking people buying tickets if they are society members and, if not, would they be interested in joining or receiving an information pack. We should be providing information with a covering letter / email emphasising the benefits to the club which has just reached a cup final. Even the benefits of one-off (double your money) contributions should be made to everyone, including existing members. We'll not get a better chance for face to face meetings with as many supporters.

The Rangers players were so concerned about their injured team - mate, they carried on playing with possession for some time and nearly scored. Perhaps a bit of a 'cry wolf' attitude as they knew they had been going down following minimal contact all game?
-
I like his honest approach and confidence but I don't think we are fitter and stronger than Celtic so it will be interesting to see how we approach the final.
-
Yeah, I watched Sportscene last night and couldn't believe they lost that game although missing a penalty and an absolute sitter didn't help! They looked fast and played some neat stuff. Difficult game for us tomorrow night particularly if we're tired from Sunday's exertions.

It's Sunday the 26th of November. It's been agreed with the tv company before the start of the season and cup finals don't get moved.

Radio Clyde was hilarious yesterday and will have the hysteria at a much higher level than Radio Scotland. I prefer an attempt at balance in the discussions but am tempted to tune in to the nuggets on Clyde for a change.
-
That was the interview i heard on Radio Clyde. They rightly pointed out afterwards that his comments might have carried more weight if he hadn't kicked out at Moult and deserved a red card.
-
CoF had a link to the second goal on the previous page and the same YouTube channel had these highlights (not sure how to embed them): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkV-f4aO5eA It also had a short video of goals plus interviews.

Radio Clyde is brilliant just now. Alves' interview!

Just about to leave Wigan on my way home from a week's holiday further south. Hopefully no delays on the motorway.

It sounds as though some SPFL clubs can be persuaded to transfer funds over the phone. Not that I'm suggesting that's a source of revenue we should be looking at, not even for a new suit. For a Louis Moult contract extension, well ......

I'd wondered if it might have been related to the Rojano signing saga but not at those figures. That's some amount of money to be stung for - that would seriously hit most clubs, including ourselves. As for tomorrow's game and the comments I made, I'm happy with the way we're playing but I've just seen this level of confidence before and it come back to bite us on the bum. I'll be delighted if we win but we've generally struggled on that pitch and its strange bounces. I won't make it so will be stuck with text updates from friends and family. Sounds like we'll have a good turn-out to cheer them on at least.

This is all sounding too cocky for my liking! Accies do pretty well at home and certainly don't take many doings. Hartley said he went to their game against Rangers and it was nothing like a 4-1 game.
-
They only went on sale on Thursday and have only just been put on general sale. There's almost two weeks to go. Id like to think we'll sell more than 6000 if we've already sold more than 5000.

How did Cadden and Campbell play? I have to admit to getting at Campbell getting a game having made so few first team appearances. Would have understood them going with the more experienced Docherty. (Edited to make sense)
-
If you weren't aware of the jokey reference that was hardly your fault. I thought you seemed far too sensible to be seriously offended by it. Anyway got my ticket today for the same area I was sitting in tonight - very happy bunny all round.
-
Yeah, saw that comment. Unfortunately taken the wrong way.
-
It's a long time since we had one of those comments! Does it even still exist?
-
Short term deal. Rather unimpressive and didn't do anything we couldn't have brought in one of the youngsters to do . Think he was Irish with a Worzel Gummidge haircut.
-
I thought he'd made some reasonable signings but had my doubts as to whether he could get them to works as a team. I think he's shown the answer to be a resounding No!
-
I must be losing the plot. I can remember incidents from games in the eighties and nineties but have no recollection at all of this game although I'm sure I would have been there. Was it a bit of a non-event with limited tv highlights? A google search takes me to a BBC report but the highlight link on that page no longer works. We've not featured in many semi-finals over the years so I'm amazed I've completely forgotten one.
