  1. I'd generally agree with you but thought he was better than normal yesterday.
  2. Watching Sportscene and it looks as though McGinn might have been slightly offside for his goal. Definitely ahead of his man (Kerr) and I thought he was a shade ahead of Cummins as well, admittedly the officials don't have a pause button.
  3. Standard of play from both teams today was absolutely rank and easily the worst I've seen this season. Thought Murphy's wonder strike had won it for us as they really didn't look like scoring (although they could and probably should have scored a few early on). Enjoyed my day despite the late goal and the atmosphere either side of the fence was a good laugh although I think the Salvation Army want their band back.
  4. What age is Murphy? Would he still be young enough for a sizeable development fee to apply?
  5. Ah right - hadn't noticed the time of the post. We did improve in second half but still lacked attempts on goal.
  6. Humphrey cut inside and had a good left footed shot that the goalie saved well but we were hardly testing their goalie. Bizarrely, I felt we played better in the games we lost against Hibs and Utd.
  7. The guy went down like a sack of spuds but it was extremely debatable if there was any contact. I thought he'd actually shown a few good touches before his sending off and was surprised he didn't feature again.
  8. Don't like truth to get in the way of a good story but he didn't really punch anybody. Still made an ignominious exit though. Grehan could be in with a chance for that team.
  9. Anything particular on that site that we're meant to be looking at?
  10. Having just seen the BBC highlights, it looks as though Higdon was onside with the left back playing him on (despite what the commentator says). I watched the Utd. highlights as well and it seems incredible we only gained one point from the chances we created in the two games.
  11. Technically, there was boo-ing from the home support but it was very obvious it was directed at the Dundee fans singing during the silence.
  12. Good point but I wonder if the club will be able to accept money at season ticket turnstiles and gather it in separately as donations rather than gate receipts. It might need sent in separately. Don't know how it would work to be honest.
  13. I was all fingers and thumbs on my phone starting a very similar topic when this appeared. Can one of the Admin combine / delete as considered appropriate please?
  14. It's only a day away and there doesn't appear to be a thread on this so here goes: What's everyone's thoughts on line-ups, scores and also, bearing in mind the talk in the summer, is anyone doing anything different considering this takes the place of the Rangers fixture?
  15. I enjoyed what was a good open game but am obviously disappointed with the result. However with games as open as that, you'll win some and lose some and I remain hopeful for Saturday. I'm surprised at some people being confused by the substitutions though. Utd had subs who could change things, we were limited to bringing on fresh legs. Ojamma was knackered and had fallen out of the game and Humphrey had already had cramp.
  16. Would love Thistle away just for the day out or a manageable train day like Ayr or Dumdarton (not been to their new ground).
  17. Murphy wonder goal has us 2 up at half-time! Who'd have thunk it?
  18. Ojamma rounded keeper and missed open goal! Fans sound in good voice on Open All Mikes.
  19. I would expect any checks on "fit and proper" status will be carried out on those elected rather than waste time doing them for everyone.
  20. I sit in the Cooper Stand and was convinced the tannoy announcement said season ticket holders didn't need to get a ticket on the way out. The stewards repeated this so I'll have to contact the club. It seems the stewards were the ones at fault. These things happen and hopefully lessons are learnt.
  21. I don't think he's good enough and it's obvious McCall doesn't either. I think this will be a step towards his departure in January.
  22. I've been in it twice after work with my bun mate but should be ok for a giggle BEFORE the game then it's a quick walk to anniesland for the Larky train
  23. Just what we needed - another thread about the Rangers game! I plan to go to Ibrox, cheer on my team and then go home, bearing in mind that it's only a game of football. The thought of blaming the opposition for my own team's situation and singing songs about battles in another country some 300 odd years ago doesn't really strike me as something a sane person would do but there will be plenty of people at Ibrox doing just that.
