  1. we'll know who it is before the day is out, we're getting good at this.
  2. The guy is a hack, he got the willo flood idea from a couple of utd fans tweeting each other, and it looks like the moult chat is the same.
  3. One of the fake agent accounts has us in for miles Hippolyte of falkirk. I don't know what he's like but I don't like his name, so I'm out.

    New Pitch

Project is part funded by the Scottish football partnership, for those wondering where the money is coming from.
  5. Manager said that getting signings in is more important, so could be another week before we hear anything. Most of us are going on the assumption that it's lasley, but that would largely depend on whether he continues to play.
  6. I saw that he made 33 appearances so assumed that was the whole season. I don't really care about Ross county, so I just based my post on what I saw online.
  7. Well, we could do with being more "streetwise"
  8. Still only 31, played the whole season last year for a county team that was marginally less shite than us. Could do worse.
  9. If signings are gazumped because of posts on here, then someone's agent is doing a really bad job.
  10. Sounds like our kind of signing, in that he can cover a few positions. May also be insurance in the event we lose cadden.
  11. I'll get the guys at the lab to cross reference motherwell's twitter followers with England c internationals who are Australian and have played for both reading and Plymouth. Be right back.
  12. Contend for top 6, and no relegation drama. The cups are completely dependent on the draw, so I'd go with winning all our non old firm cup games, and the finals (if we get there)
  13. From robbos interview, lasley did trigger another year on his playing contract, but it sounded very much like Robinson wants to switch him to a coaching role. He was also very clear that he's trying to move people out who "are on good money", but it's difficult. A pretty honest interview all told.
  14. Cue the papers mining the clubs twitter followers for the next scoop
  15. There are a couple in the u20s who will fill some of those gaps (McMillan, Mclean, hastie, Gordon) but I wouldn't be surprised if we see at least 7 more come in based on who has gone. Flow did mention that some incomings will depend on outgoings, which could mean selling a moult or Ben, or moving on the likes of Blyth and clay, and maybe Thomas.
  16. I'm amazed that for once a rumour has turned out to be true! By comparison, least year we signed Tait, Ben, and Blyth in the last week of June. So we really are getting our work done early.
  17. There's some impressive stuff in that Carson video, Though there's also some shades of Sampson with his "slap the ball into the middle of the box" tendencies. Add this to his diminutive stature, and he could be one that sparks discussion through the season
  18. Ripley has a year left on his 'boro contract, so would have to be a loan unless we're spending money. I dont think there's anything in it other than Robbo signing him for oldham.
  19. I think with the way people talk about the club as being a family and the like, there is a danger that our model could undermine this with what looks like is going to be an annual rebuilding job. Therefore I think that it is beneficial to keep the likes of lasley and Hammel around, within reason. On the other hand, a bad experience could sour a reputation they've build up. I'll add that I don't think that, outwith a few extremes, the assistant manager makes that much of a difference. Will we ever see a player put in the number of appearances either of them have?
  20. The issue is less that we need to sell for cash flow, but that they're in the last year of their deals. I'd love to extend them and keep them another season, but I don't think we can swing that.
  21. There's potential of money for moult, heneghan, and sell ons for Marvin this year, so we could be in a decent position financially. I'd agree with the above that it would be best for the club if they move before the season, so that we don't have a situation like last year where we couldn't replace Marvin in time.
  22. Gael seems a nice guy, and down to earth. His story is something too, with him originally moving to the U.K. as a refugee, and the shenanigans with his international career. As far as Robbo's interview goes, I am encouraged by the amount of work he is putting in personally to identify and secure the signings. Doesn't guarantee there won't be a Blyth or a fletcher in there, but I get the impression that he won't be taking a punt on anyone and he has clear idea of what he needs.
  23. All of fishers goals this season
  24. Flow said we'd been in on him for a while, and almost had him in 2015. No more signings today, but next 2 or 3 not far away.
  25. Which part of Ireland is Burundi in? Exciting signing, mainly because it's completely out of nowhere and we finally have our first burundese(?) I like the look of fisher, although that's mainly based on watching him against us. So it looks like our wish of a Blyth/bowman departure might come true.
