Anybody else got a nagging feeling that we are going to start off next seasons SPL campaign against Celtic?

There will come a time when we are collectively looking back at Season 2010-2011 and reminiscing on a fantastic season....and that is what it was. Sadly, for that to happen we will be at the crappy end of the league and oot of both domestic Cups probably early doors. Let us hope that is not next season or even for quite a while yet. One final hurdle yesterday and it would likely have been one of the very best in our 125 year history. Just concerned that for many next season is not going to measure up so to speak. Remember, at least we are seeded in the League Cup next year and Aberdeen urnae. Got to be cause for a smile at the very least.

Just us and every other club in Scotland then. That wouldn't have changed even if we had won the Cup.

A big ask but fingers crossed. Would be more than over the moon if we weren't faced with one of them on the other side this time.

Can 100% undertand that. CIS Cup Final in 2010, St Mirren vs Rangers, and I was DESPERATE for a Rangers win. I despise the pair of them but I can handle Rangers winning what would just amount to another trophy that would get 24 hours tops celebration from their fans. St Mirren though.....not a chance. Imagine going to NSP and getting that rubbed in your face. Even when I think back to yesterday I still think at least we weren't playing against NINE MEN in a National League Final with the scores level and STILL balls it up.

Meaning we should be back playing preseason friendlies in about 5 or 6 weeks time.

Ref was an enbarrasment. Just 'cause it is a Cup Final doesn't mean the laws and rules of the game change.

As I said the Ref had an overall shocker. Both could have walked. I haven't seen Lasley's tackle again but caught the other one at half time. The occasion was too big for some of our players but the same could be said for the ref. Embarrasingly bad.

As in being sold or 'bought out' a la Fraser? Not convinced Murphy or Humphrey will move on now. Maybe in January if they have a good start to the season. Not sure what the position is with Page and Forbes but they must feel a wee bit uneasy especially the former. Page has never really been given a chance. McHugh needs to step up next season as well. Forgot Mauruce Ross. To not even get a place on the bench speaks volumes for me. Think he will be away now as well. Heard s rumour today we are intetested in Peter MacDonald. Hope not.

By the time the transfer window closes at the end of August I don't expect Randolph, Craigan, Jennings, Sutton, Jeffers, Jones, Gunning, and, Casagolda to be at the club. Obviously (and thankfully in one or two cases) a few of them are gone now. Bit of a rebuild for McCall and in my opinion only now can he be truly judged as Motherwell manager.

Since Mark McGhee became the manager I'd say that it has pretty much been one long period of being spoiled rotten. Just my opinion mind.

This must be what it's like the night before your only daughter's wedding. Pride, nerves, excitement, and a deep nagging worry that she is going to get rode stupid on her big day. Admittedly, not by (at the very least) 11 guys.

Agreed...........but my dislike of Celtic has certainly grown when I didn't think such a thing was possible.
