  1. He once took a Shrewsbury supporter's drum to an away game in his car boot. More to follow....
  2. Give an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of replays and this is the inevitable outcome.
  3. You can understand why the buyers want it out there, but yeah, it's not a great situation for us or Spittal. At least we won't be playing them again, barring a minor miracle.
  4. No surprise. At least we know where we stand.
  5. Some of my best (and worst) football memories came from international football, but I get that isn't the case for everyone. I'm sure you know why they can't play an entire set of qualifiers over a 2 month period at the end of the season every second year.
  6. It wasn't a friendly and I doubt it was meaningless to Lennon Miller. If the players don't want to play international football, they can simply choose not to go, but I suspect it means more to them than it does to you. And what possible difference is Scotland getting pumped going to make?
  7. The international break has started badly for us. We need to hope it doesn't get worse, but the way this season's gone....
  8. I think this hinges on when the explanation of deliberate handball was given to the club. If it was at the time or directly after the match, you're dealing with utter incompetence. If it was at a later point, you're looking not only at utter imcompetence, but also the whiff of tracks being covered. The audio would prove that's not the case, obviously, so I'm sure there won't be a problem releasing it to the club if required.
  9. The decision was deliberate handball. Utter bollocks.
  10. Of that, we can be absolutely sure.
  11. I'm sure he has the same interest in what any of us say on here.
  12. Very true. But I'm not suggesting we replace the current manager.
  13. We'll see where we finish in May, but we haven't finished 10th or below since 2014/15, so it's not happening most seasons. If someone from the club suggested they'd be content with that, I missed it. Ruling out rookies and journeymen leaves us with experienced managers who have a proven, ongoing track record of success at our level. I'm struggling to find anyone who fits that bill and would realistically be interested in coming here. It looks like most Premier clubs are struggling on that front too.
  14. Yeah. The statement does have a point regarding some folk not knowing the laws, or choosing to ignore them when it suits. Ex players banging on about 'no malice' or 'accidental' is embarrassing. When they are being paid to give opinions, surely it's not to much to ask they are informed opinions. Saturday's decision is just as embarrassing. As you say, according to the current laws of the game, there was absolutely nothing wrong with that goal, so how can at least two paid, trained officials with the benefit of endless replays make such a pig's ear of it?
  15. Perfect summation. But they have one possible get out of jail card left to play - it was judged to be deliberate handball. If they dare to suggest that was the call, our game's even more screwed than it currently appears.
  16. As I read it, they're admitting there are problems, but they're blaming most of them on other people not understanding the rules. They've done a great job, apparently, so bugger all will change.
  17. 1: "Work together to alleviate the unsustainable pressure on match officials and VAR operators." = Stop moaning about ludicrous decisions. 2: "This includes all key external stakeholders having a better understanding of the laws of the game, the lines of intervention for VAR and the adopted guidance within Scottish football, especially in subjective areas such as the handball law." = Managers, players and fans don't understand the laws of the game. Mind you, when it comes to what is or isn't handball, we don't have a feckin clue either, so each referee and VAR operator will continue to make it up as they go along. At which time, we'll refer you to point 1.
  18. We might make it to more cup finals with McInnes. He's helped us into 2 already.
  19. I'm knackered, you'll need to explain that to me.
  20. An Old Firm title decider, decided by VAR then overturned by the SFA - you ain't seen nothing yet.
  21. Outwith the Glasgow pair, is there any manager in the Premier League folk would like to have at Fir Park?
