On the plus side, those games give us the chance to directly affect where we finish. If we manage to take full points from the next 2 games, our season may well be entirely in our own hands. One thing's for sure - nobody will be looking forward to playing us right now.
-
Keep dreaming....
-
Aberdeen down to 10 men for DOGSO. Dundee score the penalty. Ha and feckin ha.
-
Definitely. Better to dream of catching than worry about being caught.
-
There's a post on our Facebook page that has a link to St Mirren, who are now selling 'additional' digital tickets to Motherwell fans. Mibbe 40 or so remaining.
-
Looking close to a sell out for our allocation.

You'd struggle to find a more greetin' faced referee botherer than Shinnie, and yet, following Gordon's foul, he gives him a hand up and makes absolutely no move to complain after the ref shows the yellow card. That should tell them all they need to know.
-
I blame Kenny McLean for Gordon's red card.
-
They have. And all of those clubs have spent a varying number of years in lower divisions during the last 35 years, as have Hearts and Hibs, who've also won silverware. I suppose it depends how folk measure success. Out of interest, would you say there's no hope of us winning the league this season?
-
Connelly didn't kill the game plan. He made a mistake that could've resulted in a goal (prior to the free kick). He didn't cause Priestman to slip and get a red card.
-
Since you believe this team and manager have been guilty of these things on two ocassions this season, and that is unacceptable, what is it you think the club should actually do about it now? Because simply informing them they must win these games in the future doesn't guarantee a thing.
-
If it's unacceptable, what should be done about it?
-
That's the case in England, but looks like the suspension is still served in the relevant competion here, according to their rules. VAR is checking for a possible rule change.
-
Yeah, for a lot of Motherwell fans football's about happy - or not so happy - memories. If it was only about winning, most of us would've given up long ago.
-
Pretty sure the suspension only applies to the cup. At least he'll be well rested.
-
No Priestman?
-
I agree with you on the penalty, but I wouldn't want a penny back. From the word go not much else could've gone wrong, but they fought to the end, and I think the vast majority of fans appreciated that.
-
Nothing's ever guaranteed, but we've got the team we all wanted for years - playing attractive football, winning games and willing to go toe to toe with everyone they face, including the uglies. If they're going up there believing they'll win, so am I.
-
True. We beat Rangers here with 4 games to go, but everyone assumed they'd cruise to the title anyway. That Utd game killed us.
-
Had a look at the London Hearts website, where you can check results and league tables game by game. 1994/95, we were 15 or 16 points adrift from January onwards. The midweek we lost at home to Dundee Utd and Rangers lost to Hibs was 30th April 1994. I knew it was close, but I can't believe how close. If we had won that match, we'd have been 2 points behind Rangers with 2 games left to play - they took 1 point from those games.
-
1993/94 was the closest we came, wee Tommy's last season. Rangers collapsed at the end and we finished 4 points behind them in 3rd. We finished 2nd under McLeish the following year, but we were miles behind Rangers. I don't think we were ever really in with a realistic chance that season.
-
Looks like we're still going for the double, then.
-
Aye, he wouldn't be the first to sabotage his own career.

Robinson's club interview after the game yesterday was mainly about the lack of effort and/or fitness in relation to the players who are not getting a game, despite St Mirren's form. Same stuff we all know - January signings are only about bringing in bodies with potential, because they can't afford to buy players who have actually been playing somewhere, even if that was English non-league. Campbell desperately needs someone to show some faith, keep him on beyond the summer and put him through a proper pre-season. There's surely still a player in there, but these short term deals, where his contribution is (unsurprisingly) almost zero, are killing his career.

Miller starting again today v Sassuolo.
