To be honest, I don't see many people on here suggesting it doesn't matter what we do, but even if they were, it would be equally nonsensical to suggest it doesn't matter if other teams get dodgy penalties against us, while we are denied stonewallers. There are very few teams who can cope with those kind of decisions on a consistent basis, and we certainly aren't one of them. We're all frustrated right now. Maybe don't poke the wound quite so soon.

At Kilmarnock today, though it took 8 minutes to review, and the ref still managed to feck it up by not red carding the Killie defender, despite the fact he made no attempt to play the ball. And it probably wasn't a penalty. And it was possibly offside.
-
If Grant Hanley receives an additional ban due to this being his second red card of the season, can Motherwell appeal?
-
Keep twirling that scarf.

One nil to Aberdeen. Hanley sent off for Hibs.

Much as I dislike the pair of them, neither Celtic or Rangers have a 3pm Saturday kick-off in their final fixtures.

I think most folk compare what they're watching now to what they previously watched when it comes down to it. Crowd numbers alone would suggest they much prefer what JBA's team has served up to what the past few managers delivered. On a personal level, that's certainly the case. Doesn't make Askou a genius, doesn't mean Kettlewell's a donkey (though we could take the views of Ross County and Kilmarnock fans into account on that one).

True. Personally, I hope they don't. Their fans seem to have a real problem with Motherwell, whether they're greetin about getting relegated at Fir Park, being refused promotion while we stayed up, or (as I read today) their keeper getting sent off in 1992 for mouthing off about a Falkirk free-kick that turned into a shy (immediately followed by a goal) for us. I suppose they had plenty of time to seethe in the lower divisions.

Before my time, but Bobby Ancell would probably qualify as a legend to most older fans.
-
Hearts just shovelled more pressure on themselves. We need to make that work in our favour.
-
I'm no sure he's blaming the officials for our defeat, but let's be honest, it was a stonewall penalty and a red card for the Falkirk player early on. We saw how that can change a game the other week. And their 3rd goal was never a penalty. We're struggling a bit just now, but carrying absolutely no luck and been on the wrong end of some horrendous decisions recently.

VAR chose not to see the foul on Maswanhise. Unless they can explain why tripping an attacker in the box is not considered a penalty.

Don't give the SFA any ideas.

A big part of my first Well side. Sad to see another one leave us.

He won our player of the month for March and sent a wee video message from the airport, by the look of it.

Eli Just scores for New Zealand against Chile. Subbed after 72 mins. Currently 4-0.

In fairness, Joe is 74 now.

I'm all for this new era of holding folk to account for errors of judgement that are not in the best interests of Scottish football. Out of interest, does anyone know the last time a top level referee, assistant or VAR official was sanctioned by the SFA for such an error of judgement?
-
As Michael Higdon would confirm. Though that was Rule 200, apparently.
-
Probably less likely now he's essentially a marked man in Scotland. The wording of Rule 77 is vague enough and broad enough for the SFA to trigger his suspended 2 game ban any time he steps out of line, whether that be a tackle, mouthing off or falling on his arse.
-
Hopefully, Slattery's ban pisses our guys off like the game at Pittodrie did.
-
Shhhh, before Fadinger gets a lifetime ban for diving.
-
This wasn't a breach of Rule 201, though, according to the SFA.
