Hope for the best, but expect....you know. Motherwell's my team, and no level is too low to change that. Same story for a lot of folk, but the poverty of the product, combined with rising prices - football related or otherwise - must be shaving numbers off the gate year by year, and it does hee haw to encourage new paying customers.

Our players just aren't capable of producing performances like that on a regular basis, hence the reason they're here. Same throughout a league that's as bereft of real quality as any I can remember, and odds are the standard of ability and entertainment will keep dropping.

Some of my best (and worst) football memories came from international football, but I get that isn't the case for everyone. I'm sure you know why they can't play an entire set of qualifiers over a 2 month period at the end of the season every second year.

It wasn't a friendly and I doubt it was meaningless to Lennon Miller. If the players don't want to play international football, they can simply choose not to go, but I suspect it means more to them than it does to you. And what possible difference is Scotland getting pumped going to make?

I think this hinges on when the explanation of deliberate handball was given to the club. If it was at the time or directly after the match, you're dealing with utter incompetence. If it was at a later point, you're looking not only at utter imcompetence, but also the whiff of tracks being covered. The audio would prove that's not the case, obviously, so I'm sure there won't be a problem releasing it to the club if required.
