  1. Top European scorer. Scored in the Scottish cup semi final. Scored in the Scottish Cup quarter final. Scored away to Aberdeen in the cup. That's off the top of my head. He is miles better than what we have. Gerrard seems to want pace to match Ojo, Jones and Barker which Murphy isn't going to manage but he will score and set up goals in this league. After watching Seedorf and Ilic the past two weeks we are in desperate need of players.
  2. I watched the highlights. First goal Tait exposes himself and gets roasted by Ajer then Donelly decides to fall over rather than track the run. Second goal a four man wall and Allan Campbell is supposed to be trying to charge but shites himself. Third goal is a pathetic effort by Grimshaw, Campbell, Donnelly and Gallagher. Fourth goal obviously a handball but Dunne gifted it. Fifth goal horrendous by Donnelly. Scoring two goals and selling three is some afternoon's work for Liam Donnelly.
  3. Training obviously. Players play 90 or 180 minutes a week. They can obviously build more fitness training 20-30 hours a week.

This. United will still be spending well over a million a year on player wages. Spending 10% of the wages on a guy who scores that many goals make sense. I think a lot of people seem to think we are only paying around a grand a week despite the fact that total player wages must be closer to 2m than 1.5m.
  5. The booking was a joke. The free kick today was a shocker and he made a couple of howlers at Livi with his passing as well. I'd rather wait until someone puts in a solid 90 minutes to start hailing them as a great signing.
  6. Gallagher still gave away a needless freekick that led to a goal. When Hartley did that 12 months ago he was rightly criticised.
  7. Aye he has was MOTM by a mile and dominated every single challenge.
  8. Celtic didn't start for 20 minutes. After they scored we fell out the game. At the moment there's no area of the park that is functioning so it's hard to pull out any positives.
  9. We've not got a midfielder who can defend. The three numpties today were all over the place.
  10. Another masterclass from Robinson. Great decision to give him an extended deal.
  11. Polworth, Donnelly and Campbell got owned by Bartley, Jacobs and Pittman. I'm sure they'll do fine against Brown, McGregor and Ntcham.
  12. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/pervert-motherwell-youth-coach-jailed-18877293 It seems a bit light on details about what connection he had to the club but it's good that club are investigating.
  13. The new path round to the pitchside looks cracking.
  14. It's dry here just now. I think the pitch will be fine. Hopefully it's pishing down tomorrow. That new Israeli centre half won't have played in anything like the Motherwell micro climate before.
  15. When they see that we are sending a really young team they might be encouraged to give it a go. It would be great if we can make the third round and get a game at Fir Park again.
  16. People on Twitter seem to think he's going to Coventry. If he is still at Preston when the English window shuts it would daft not to enquire.
  17. St Mirren's u21s getting the bragging rights over the first team by beating EK
  18. I think it's over 21 so Semple and Devine are still ok as they are teenagers. Possibly Manzinga if he is fit.
  19. We can only field two over age players.
  20. Bad news about Carroll. Was it a bad tackle? I haven't bothered with any highlights.
  21. It'll be a big test for the back four. They definitely need the midfield to actually turn up. If Donnelly and Polworth are playing again we are fucked. Allan Campbell needs to up his game as well.
  22. Trevor has been brilliant for us but we need our money on the park, not the bench. We are desperate for a holding midfielder, a striker and another winger.
  23. There was plenty of stuff which had nothing to do with the pitch. Constantly trying to play the ball through Dunne, waiting an hour to go long and wide and our midfield being horrific for the entire 90 minutes wasn't down to the pitch. Ilic on the right wing made no sense, every time he gets the ball he is turning the wrong way to get onto his left side. The positives were a good performance from Carroll, Dunne defended well, Gallagher and Tait were ok and Hylton showed flashes. Devante Cole showed promise when he came on as well and will hopefully be able to start next week. The low point of the game was having a free kick inside their half and passing the ball into our half to Dunne. That's a poorly coached team.
  24. It would be good to see the club coming out against plastic pitches. Fans are being robbed.
