The press conferences are staggered so journalists can go to multiple teams. To be fair to the BBC they were told to reduce certain aspects of their regional and local coverage the last time the charter got renewed to give other media outlets bigger market share. That still doesn't change the fact that there coverage of Scottish football is a disgrace and Sportsound basically amounts to a Celtic fanzine with the occasional belly rub for Aberdeen.

I thought the ref got the two big decisions right. If McHugh wasn't passing the ball back to the keeper what was he doing? There was no need for Carson to pick it up. Hartley scored an OG because Moussa pushed him in the back. The ref could possibly have went to the cards quicker for a few of our players but he should also have sent off their 8 for the tug on Tanner's collar when he was on a booking. I thought McHugh and Tait were our top performers and won every challenge they had to defensively. Slightly better finishing would have seen Carl with a double and Tait was a bawhair away from getting on the end of a great ball from Frear. Bigi played well and won plenty of tackles and covered a lot of ground. Frear played well but lacked composure when he beat the fullback and got into the box. Fisher was great outside the box but didn't carry any threat in it. Grimshaw was chasing shadows again, he has struggled to make an impact every time he has come on as a sub and I would expect him to drop down the pecking order if he doesn't pick up soon. Dundee were very poor. Unless they start scoring goals McCann will be on his way out as no one pays 24 quid to watch your keeper play 1-2s. It was Jim Gannon/Yogi Hughes type football from them to forty yards from our goal in the second half then they were clueless as to how to break us down. It's a shame we didn't get the second goal we deserved in the first half hour and the score would have been a bit more realistic.

McHugh closely followed by Tait. Bigi and Dunne had good games as well.

There's a lot of shite being talked about Moult being lucky he got booked. If you watch the incident Alves did his old trick of studs in the back at the high ball then kicked Louis on the ground. Louis is on his back and kicks his legs forward a bit towards Alves but makes no contact. Alves then starts holding his face then Moult jumps up and tells him to cut it out which he does. Then Herrera runs in and throws him to the ground. The end. What exactly has he done wrong there?

Bowman is going to be suspended anyway so unless Fisher shows he is worth a start I don't see us playing two up. The defence was a shambles first half on Saturday and if it was Sinclair and Roberts rather than the two jokers on wing for Rangers the game would be over at halftime.

We are going to need full backs in the final against Sinclair and Roberts so tomorrow could be the night to try out a back four again.

Jamie Murphy scored a couple of belters from long range. A late equaliser at Accies and in the cup at Pittodrie in a cup tie which we drew and i'm still annoyed about. Big Sutty's volley at Hampden was a great goal as well. Skippy scored a screamer at Ibrox around christmas time one year. Ross McCormack's goal at Easter Road was another cracker.

Not the best performance but we battled for everything and we have a real match winner in Moult. Carson, Hartley and McHugh were superb as well. Watching it back on TV it was good to see Scott Leitch enjoying the win. We've have a had huge turnover in staff but having Leitch, Craigan, Big Mick, Lasley and Hammell at the club gives us a good core of local guys who have the club at heart.

I might be missing something but i'm not really seeing the Rodgers effect. Scottish teams are still getting pumped in Europe and the national team still can't even make the playoffs.

That 2011 semi final was during the coldest couple of months most of us have ever seen which probably effected the attendance.

That probably happened because the stewards decided it would be less work for them to make it a free for all. Rangers an Celtic fans manage to deal with this every week so it's a poor reflection of those in our support who can't.

It's not rocket science when you know the stand is going to be full to sit in the seat you buy a ticket for.

They are playing the exact same tactics as against the Dutch and which were effective because the Dutch were confused by them. The English players obviously knew what was coming so the 4-6-0 gimmick isn't having any positive effect. As you said there is a gulf in class but we can't get up the park because of the shape.
