  1. That's us beat but we got a bit of pride back and hopefully it will be lessons learned from Robinson. We have had so many poor first half performances this season, almost every league game. We will need to play for 90 minutes in the final.
  2. Rose and Dunne off. How many times have they been subbed off for being pish this season yet they always start....
  3. Carson, Tait, Kipre, Hartley, Dunne, McHugh, Rose, Bigi, Cadden, Tanner, Moult 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 but we are obviously preparing for the final.
  4. That does sound a bit dodgy and opens the door for corruption via proxy voting given the low turnout in most votes. It would be interesting to hear why the society wants to give share buyers full voting rights.
  5. It says you join the WS at the pre Steel level but i'm not sure what that actually means.
  6. I agree that giving society membership for buying shares is wrong. Was that put to any vote?
  7. They might if they think there's an award in it for them.
  8. Anything could happen in the next 30 years but if 57% no longer represents a majority it will be a major shock....
  9. You can't demand to buy the club with 30 percent. It's also likely to be very difficult to figure out who actually owns all the shares. I don't think that the controlling interest going from 70 to 57 changes anything. People need to be realistic. You are getting a certificate and a letter once a year, it's not the Dow Jones.
  10. We would have been out it by half time without Hartley.
  11. I wouldn't have taken off McHugh for a few badly executed passes as he was still competing for the ball and might have passed better with better options in the second half. Rose is rotten and as soon as he was on the left of the midfield four Hibs just bombed forward at will as they clearly had no respect for him (see also him getting marked by Lewis Stevenston at corners). I'm not saying Fisher would have won us a point but Bowman in particular contributed nothing and under normal circumstances wouldn't have played 90.
  12. If you change the team then have to change it again ten minutes later because you are getting horsed you can't have made the right substitutions. Using three subs by 55 minutes meant we couldn't bring on Fisher when both the strikers were having nightmares.
  13. Very poor, we've barely played two passes. Dropping Tait who battles for everything for Frear who has a pea heart makes no sense if you are just launching long balls. Rose is still murder, a 6 foot 4 blouse that can't head, tackle or pass. Every week teams are happy having guys that are 6 or 7 inches shorter marking him at set plays. We turned it around against Dundee and County are terrible first halves so hopefully we ring the changes and get a better performance.
  14. It should be a good game today. Hopefully the wind dies down a bit but if it doesn't we should be sticking everything we can on top of Hibs' rotten keeper. If we have to play without Hartley and Campbell it will be a real test of the squad. I think Moult will start but if he doesn't I wouldn't start Fisher and Bowman together again.
  15. They didn't even do a match report on our game last night. Just interviews with Robinson and McCann.
  16. The press conferences are staggered so journalists can go to multiple teams. To be fair to the BBC they were told to reduce certain aspects of their regional and local coverage the last time the charter got renewed to give other media outlets bigger market share. That still doesn't change the fact that there coverage of Scottish football is a disgrace and Sportsound basically amounts to a Celtic fanzine with the occasional belly rub for Aberdeen.
  17. Cadden probably got booked for dissent, the same as Sunday.
  18. It wouldn't surprise me if McCann told the players to try and put the ref under pressure any time we fouled and that whipped the crowd up. He was a serial diver as a (very good) player.
  19. I thought the ref got the two big decisions right. If McHugh wasn't passing the ball back to the keeper what was he doing? There was no need for Carson to pick it up. Hartley scored an OG because Moussa pushed him in the back. The ref could possibly have went to the cards quicker for a few of our players but he should also have sent off their 8 for the tug on Tanner's collar when he was on a booking. I thought McHugh and Tait were our top performers and won every challenge they had to defensively. Slightly better finishing would have seen Carl with a double and Tait was a bawhair away from getting on the end of a great ball from Frear. Bigi played well and won plenty of tackles and covered a lot of ground. Frear played well but lacked composure when he beat the fullback and got into the box. Fisher was great outside the box but didn't carry any threat in it. Grimshaw was chasing shadows again, he has struggled to make an impact every time he has come on as a sub and I would expect him to drop down the pecking order if he doesn't pick up soon. Dundee were very poor. Unless they start scoring goals McCann will be on his way out as no one pays 24 quid to watch your keeper play 1-2s. It was Jim Gannon/Yogi Hughes type football from them to forty yards from our goal in the second half then they were clueless as to how to break us down. It's a shame we didn't get the second goal we deserved in the first half hour and the score would have been a bit more realistic.
  20. McHugh closely followed by Tait. Bigi and Dunne had good games as well.
  21. Reading that Twitter thread Burrows says that the BBC don't go to Fir Park press conferences and we know that they don't to go to Rangers. Presumably they have the entire Pacific Quay sports desk on 24/7 Brendan Rodgers duty.
  22. Cadden and Campbell will be playing for the u21s. Midweek matches under floodlights are magic.
  23. Craggs and Sutton have just done a Smith and Jones type clip will have the Rangers support fuming. Immense. Craggs "I couldn't care whether Pedro goes or stays" Sutton "If Rangers win a trophy under Pedro you'll see flying pigs" Craggs pulls up Saint Brendan as well.
