You want to give people a fair crack of the whip but if Bowman looks like a cart horse in training then playing him isn't going to lead to anything positive. If we get Pearson and a striker who can actually play in the first team it will have been a good window.

EPL clubs have more than they know what do with so 10 million for a guy who will make an impact short to medium term makes sense. This guy has done well for Stevenage but also been released by two League Two clubs. Paying for a third choice centre back who might be rubbish seems unnecessary.

The guy is playing every week for Stevenage. Hopefully we won't be paying a fee for a 26 year old defender.

I don't think St Mirren got much say in their ground. Tesco built it for them using their own construction contractors and would have done it as cheaply as is possible.

We were poor first half and dragged them down a bit second half. Chalmers is never cut out for this level and Clay is the invisible man. Tait can't handle anyone running at him. Postives were McHugh and Lasley looking like they could be a good partnership, McHugh provides the security and Keith wins the ball.

O'Halloran would play on the left or up front. The club want shot of Ainsworth asap.

St Mirren Can't say i'm surprised by this as the only justification for limiting it to 8 academies seems to be that 'Elite Eight' sounds good when people say it.
