The main priorities at the moment are not getting relegated and repaying the loan to Hutchinson. Selling Marvin is unlikely to get us relegated and will help repay the loan.

It sounds to me like they want to reduce the number of jersey fillers in the youth set ups. So they are suggesting that clubs like us have fewer school leavers in the youth set up. This leaves the problem of what to do with the extra boys who don't make the grade. Their solution is this draft system where the lower league clubs are obligated to take a certain amount of boys (if the boys want to go there obviously).

Is the 'draft' proposal not just to reduce the number of 16-19 year olds with senior clubs? Clubs will have less 16+ youth players and the best players let go will be divvied up around the lower leagues.

I think this is more likely to be an agent getting his clients name out there. It used to happen with Humphrey every window. If Bournemouth stay up they'll be in the top 30 richest clubs in Europe. Players at Marvin's level won't be getting anywhere near their squad.
