Why are people so worked up about Nicky Law? There were more songs about him in the first half than Motherwell. A guy you don't know changed jobs at the end of his contract, how can anyone possibly get worked up about that?

Apparently a lot of the problem was the manager telling guys who were already at the club to buck up their ideas (which is fair enough) while at the same time telling them how he had been watching Straker and Thomas for a while and they were good players (which makes him look like an idiot). Remember that Nathan Thomas went straight into the team. Carswell did well for us the previous season until the op on his groin. If he gets fully fit he'll be able to make a career in football. Cummins is a crock, he's done. ZFA might improve with less pressure on him down south. Moore hasn't shown anything other than hustle and bustle, I don't see him ever making a break through.

The question is can we afford to have a player who only turns up 50% of the time? It would be nice to think that he'll realise that he can go on to play at a higher level if he shows more commitment but history suggests he won't. He would be a great signing for Aberdeen as they have the budget to carry a few luxury players. Even Celtic would be better paying him than paying Wakaso or Boerrighter. I also don't think GMS is much better than him.

There's no point riling them up with wee digs like that when we could and should be consigning them to the championship for another year.
