  1. according to wiki he did! willi oueifio. amazingly they seemed to have signed him right after we got rid of ange. 3 appearances for them which says it all. just checked and he played in the 6-1 game and got subbed off after we made it 4-0 after 36 minutes
  2. ange ouefio was a right back who we signed from lower league belgian football who was utterly hopeless and hung around for years despite not getting near the team. often seen walking about north lodge in a club tracky.
  3. He scored a cracking goal up at pittodrie as well to equalise from a beckhamesque craigan cross.
  4. Harsh on buzz considering he made a massive contribution to us finishing third, got himself into the Scotland squad and played well enough in his final season to get a good move. I doubt McGhee had any special training methods he just had higher standards than maplas. I said to maplas that mcgarry and Paterson were fat and he said "what can I do about it".
  5. claiming that he can't jump us ridiculous. He jumped miles higher than anyone in our team when scored in august. He also won every header against the giant aalesunds striker.
  6. kevin christie as a striker is a scary thought. Said chiba was a good player and was miles better than the majority of the rest of our squad when he was her. I don't know why he always gets mentioned,.
  7. the first player from our australian feeder club. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/motherwell/4687783.stm
  8. sengewald got sent off at hibs with pearson and partridge then came back for the 6-1 against hearts then never played again. we were lucky only to get 3 red cards at easter road that day. bobby donnelly against rangers on the first day of the season was the most out of his depth i've ever seen any player. it was like we had pulled somone out of the stand to play centre half.
  9. just had a flash back to the next jurgen klinsman. £200,000!
  10. randolph nijholt hutchinson van der gaag hammell lambert o'donnell lasley cooper coyne mcdonald
  11. michels and matthaei were decent players. they both fell out with davies. mattthaei gave an interview in holland where he said he wanted to punch fuck out of BD.
  12. he's only really got six (still good going). he has been marked down for one against killie at fir park when keith set up the first and ramsden the second.
  13. he was class the sunday night we scudded hearts in the cup. what a performance from the full team that was.
  14. it's not that he's slow it's that when we don't have the ball he barely tries a leg. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rZgUiPaF28 watch him at the thistle goal, he's just wandering about and it's only 5 minutes into the game.
  15. i'd take vigurs, faddy and sutton out and put zfa, lawson and anier in to go 4-5-1.
  16. gow is probably the worst signing we've ever made. andy smith who came on loan from preston was dreadful as well. i was on holiday when cosgrove got his 45 minutes in claret and amber in 2001. was he that bad? kaven ange jonnson forrest bollan smith dow j. davies roddie gow elliot
  17. On the one hand we're going for 7 wins on the trot. On the other hand it's five defeats out of five for McCall at Parkhead, 12 goals against, zero for, at a total cost of £130. Dilemma.
  18. anyone know which directors dempster is referring to?
  19. clancy was here for 9 months before jumping ship. sutton was at fir park for 3 years and the other two for longer than that. he got bombed out killie and we gave him an opportunity, now he's getting bombed out of hibs we should stay well clear. he came onto a good game for us for a few months but he was always a red card waiting to happen and let us down against celtic.
  20. totally agree. clancy has had his chance.
  21. my point - backed up by other posters - is that we get very little discussion pre and post match compared to the other clubs around us in the league. cowan doesn't really talk about football so i don't think he's very relevant. sportsound needs an overhaul. it's full of journalists who are too comfy and think they are the attraction such as gordon and young and imbeciles like murdo, dodds and preston who are experts in saying nothing at length and are terrified of offending anyone in the game. they barely talk about what happens on the park and probably wouldn't be able to tell you the strengths and weaknesses of most players in the league. radio scotland needs someone like stan collymore who is passionate, informed and able to give his opinion without worrying about treading on toes.
  22. sutton is 33-1 for a hat trick.
  23. on the bbc website. a club like bradford will also be covered on the local bbc radio station and by several local daily papers so i would guess they get more coverage over all. we shouldn't be grateful that bbc radio scotland occasionally give us a mention, they are a public service broadcaster who spend a lot of money covering football and we are one of the top teams in the country at the moment. getting 60 seconds in the 45 minutes after full time isn't good enough. the coverage that english clubs get is irrelevant, it is a completely different market.
  24. bbc scotland have 5 or 6 full time football reporters so they should be covering us.
