    Was taking my nephew on the bus from the Electric Bar, (which meant train south rather than the unpredicatable A9), however due to lack of interest - due to the kick-off schedule and TV and recent circumstances - the bus has been cancelled. The Wee Man is gutted, was to be his 1st away game on a bus.

     

    Not sure what I'll do now.

     

    Special, I don't know how difficult this might be but can't you both get a train to Dundee?

    Just back.......pish poor again,forward line posted missing again,Imrie looked the only decent player on the park ,dont think Cerny made a save from a Well player in the whole match ;)

     

     

    Absolute shite from start to finish. I see the new managers supposed attacking plan came about - not. Another pitiful performance from players who disgraced the famous jersey - AGAIN.

     

    I will be picking the games I attend from now on. Fed up pitching up £20 plus to pay players who don't even try.

     

    Sounds like it was just not good enough from an attacking perspective.

    Enjoyed the interview. He seemed relaxed and for the most part I liked what he said and the way he said it. On a personal note, I wish he would get a proper haircut, he looks the same as the last time I saw him which was probably in the 80's.

    What is all this rubbish. I won't be spending my 20 quad going to watch Motherwell. That is your choice but the club needs your 20 quad to keep the club afloat. No 20 quads no Motherwell Football Club. We need every single penny going into the club. If we can get more people to come and spend 20 quad we might have some sort of transfer budget. All this we are crap so I am not going back. We have been crap for as long as I can remember. The best way to support the team is get yourself and your 20 quad along to Fir Park or things aint going to get any better.

     

    Amber, I think you meant quid as a quad is a type of vehicular mode of transport.

    Quid pro quo so to speak.

    Just had a brief preview and it looks better. One thing I am not convinced about is the main page under MotherwellFC where it says "Scotland's Community Club". I think that saying takes away from the fact that it is an official SPL Club website. I think it would be clearer if it said something like "Official website of Motherwell Football Club" and then Scotland's Community Club underneath or somewhere else.

  16. Who Do We Want As Our New Manager?

    This thread is becoming depressing. I'm logging on looking for news of our "new" manager and we are talking about previous managers like Gannon etc. coming back.

     

    I hope hell freezers over before we take back what we discarded or left because they had better opportunities. What is the point in that? Yes people rightly have their own views on what was good and bad about ex-managers, but they are EX and that should be that.

     

    The Club's board has their criteria for a new manager and they know more than we do so I am leaving it in their capable hands. Whoever we get I will support 100%.

     

    To me one of the biggest issues is that manager's have to live in and work in north Lanarkshire. They have families and many people would not deliberately choose north Lanarkshire as the place they want to live. I don't like to say it but it is true.

  18. Motherwell V Rangers

    First time in months seeing Motherwell and have not seen Rangers all season. The clear differences to me were the Rangers players were bigger, stronger, more skilled and their passing was better. Our defence was poor and there was no one taking charge of the midfield or running at the Rangers defence. There was no one in the middle when we did cross the ball. Oh well, things will get better....
