Violent conduct is an automatic suspension for the next game IIRC.
  2. I agree with Steve Diggle that the punishment has to fit the crime regardless of the effect on the other teams in the SPL. IF they are found guilty of EBT's/dual contracts and are back in the SPL next season with minimal sanctions I won't be back and I'll cancel my Well Society direct debit. I can just about accept the fact they get "debatable" decisions in games but I won't accept rules being altered for them.
  3. Don't know about getting money back but I fear there may be a few standing orders cancelled if they get off lightly.
  4. The winless streak against Rangers would be a bit shorter but for this guy:- http://willievass.photoshelter.com/gallery-image/300312-Rangers-v-Milan-Legends/G000022eNFcxVRwU/I0000gsKfBMjQHKQ
  5. Do you know the difference between a result and a score?
  6. Not sure how you can be upset about people correctly predicting the outcome of today's game. Nobody wanted Rangers to win or hoped they'd win, they just took the easy money as they suspected the result would be the same as usual.
  7. High horse? I actually won £36 myself (£30 @ 6/5) so I'm hardly on a high horse. My point was that it's a sad state of affairs when people are getting free money based on a dead cert loss against a shit team.
  8. Closer scoreline today but no less embarrassing given how bad they are and that every man and their dog seems to be beating them these days. Even more embarrassing when you consider that there were more than a few Motherwell fans accepting defeat before a ball was kicked by betting on Rangers. Closer scoreline but samew pishy result.
  9. Contribution sent. A big 'Well done for organising this.
  10. We really need to go for the win. Anything we take from this game is a bonus. Don't think I could stomach another gutless performance though.
  11. Todays result just proves it's a great time to be a Well fan! Anybody swithering over whether or not to to joing the Well Society get signed up!
  12. Superb result. Well done to the young guys who came in. Get it right up you Broon!!!
  13. IMO opinion if Lennon was in the same situation he'd appeal and win. If McCall is accurate in his version of events (and I believe he is) he should appeal. If he does appeal and doesn't win then it's further proof that it's not a level playing field as far as I'm concerned.
  14. If that's all he said I don't see how they can justify it as it was embarrassing. Unfortunately there's no TV evidence of the conversation but if there's any justice he'll appeal and win.
  15. Given the circumstances I'd bite your hand off for a draw right now.
  16. Poor performance today. Looked as if the linesman let the referee decide on the corner despite the fact that he had a perfect view himself. Doesn't excuse the poor defending at the first goal though and even worse at the second. Poor penalty from Higdon, he put it to the same side as his 2 against Hibs at a good height for the keeper. Thought we could have had a second penalty when Clancy was dragged down at the back post as well. Only a couple of players get pass marks. Lets hope for a big improvement next week.
  17. If both teams play to their capabilities we'll go through. Hopefully Ojamma will score the winner to get it right round Brown as well although I'm concerned that Aberdeen must have signed somebody better than The Sheriff! Can't quite work out who that is yet though!?
  18. At the moment it's Baron Greenteeth's to lose. Hopefully we can finishe second and/or win the SC to give them something to think about.
  19. At the moment we ahould be looking for £500,000 plus add-ons minimum. If we finish second and win the SC then we should look for more.
  20. I thought we played well in spells today and kept the ball better than we have in previous games at Celtic Park. Didn't relly think either team threatened much but you got the feeling that if we were going to take anything out the game it would have to be 0-0 as we definitely didn't look like scoring. Watched the game on Celtic TV and the commentators really were a couple of fuds. They don't want lumped in with Rangers but they're quick enough to bring them into it when questioning how many fouls we commit against them. They also accused Jamie Murphy of "almost going down theatrically" under a challenge when he actually stayed on his feet. Looks like the paranoia is alive and well at Celtic Park.
  21. Hutchie booked in the aftermath of Hibs goal according to MFCTV.

    Vs Hearts

Great result today and has put us on course for a third place finish. Lots of hard work still to be done but on current form we're well on track. Looks like the Hibs game being abandoned may have worked in our favour as we're in far better form now. As for the Zaliukas incident we can only work with the rules that are in place. The incident has been mentioned by several people, including MFCTV radio commentators, so if it has been missed by the cameras I'd like to think the referee supervisor will have included it in his report. We've been penalised by the rule with Higdon for a far less offensive offence so I have no problem with our closest rivals for 3rd also being punished. I don' tagree with it but as long as it's in place it should be carried out.
  23. With both threads started by the same person.
  24. This could be the perfect game for Ojamma to keep his great start going. With his workrate and ability he's capable of causing their backline problems. If he has a quiet game we've always got Murphy, Daley, Humphrey and Higdon to step up to the plate so I fancy us for a win.
