I thought ODonnell did well again but Just was exceptional, ran out of steam in ET but I thought he was brilliant today.

We can pick holes in this performance but at the end of the day we were playing the best team in the championship at home and we won. Give me this as oppose to our last game in the cup up there all day long. bring on the quarters

Just should have done better there, Odonnell did well getting up there but if you watch AP he didn’t even give him an option for a cut back, standing static behind the defender. the longer this goes on the more likely we are to lose a goal

There’s actually decent balls at times whipped in, there was one 2 mins ago where AP should have been in there in front of the defender. We had a few in the first half. We need a striker as I don’t think AP is the guy we need. His movement is always away from the goal.

AP’s really slow, I just don’t think he suits the way we play. We need him mobile and making space for himself. Too often he’s standing static next to a defender

My main gripe is that the central midfield is so important in this new set up and he’s going to miss games, it’s disruptive. And has he really been good when he’s played for Rangers? The support I know havnt been that impressed? He did quite well in a European game and he started a cup game against a lower league side and he was hooked at half time? i’m not convinced with youngsters from rangers anyway, I think they are cursed with a “I’ve made it already” attitude. Lowry went out on loan and was rotten, the boy Devine wasn’t great. I just don’t think they get good habits at rangers. Similar to youngsters at Celtic. Maybe that’s why they have such an appalling record at bringing in youths Anyway, I doubt it’ll happen!!

Turnbull is a definite no go, I think he’ll be at Cardiff for another 2 years and see out his contract. Crazy money involved down there. as for Rice, even if he does come and does well, he’d need removed any time we played Rangers, I just think it screws up team dynamics when we get a loanee from SPFL teams. Not just for those weeks he’s not allowed to play but a week or so after it when he gets back in the team. If we could sign him permanently great, I’d take him then but is he the type to take a drop in pay To kick start his career? I’m not so sure.

Paul Kinnaird was an absolute loonball 🤣 I think he was drummed out of fir park as he owed everyone money due to gambling debts. Peem weir is Jim Weir (not the Accies guy) Tommy signed him from a German 3rd division team and then fired him straight into a game v rangers and he was horrific. I’m sure he now drives taxis in lesmahagow? I may be wrong with that tho?
