Watt was brilliant but Fadinger I think just flies under the radar every week. He’s an 8 out of 10 every week, an absolute class act and one of our few players who when he goes down after a bad challenge, he gets back up, dust himself down and cracks on. A solid robust player who is technically excellent.

Jim Goodwin was a horrible fraud of a player and an arrogant no mark as a manager. Delighted to beat a Goodwin team but I’ve never like Utd either, never liked the legend Jim McLean and his bullying and destruction of young players back in the 80s and 90s. Their fans are annoying too. job done…… semi final excitement begins.

I’d like to see a few changes, Maswanhise looks injured so I’d be taking him off and maybe another couple of changes in the midfield to freshen it up keep slattery fit for Saturday.

We could maybe try and organise a blue badge for him or a few hand rails added to his bathroom. He’s been out injured over half of his Motherwell career. This is in half jest as I do think he’s a cracking player I just think the more injuries he’s had, the more it will affect him as his career continues. All these bad injuries mount up on the old body. It’s a shame for the lad.

I’m dealing with OAPs and kids. 5 QR codes appear on Saturday and then I can meet everyone prior to the game. I can then scan them all in one at a time? Is that ok? Does this work at Scotland games?

I dont think Spittal is better than slattery, just, watt, fadinger, said, Charles cook. I’d personally have them all in front of Spittal. also we don’t know what Spittal we would get. If my memory serves me right he was absolutely rotten under Alexander and Hammell and only started performing under eddy munster. He also seems to be a permanent bench warmer at hearts, not getting any mins on the park. I think we should just count our blessings that we seen the best of him and we’ve now moved on to better Honda civics.

Totally agree. If anything it’s making a stressful environment even more stressful. I’m just concerned we’ll get to Saturday and the 5 tickets I’ve bought for folk without smartphones will hopefully be on my phone for me to scan them in. Yeah I don’t have them either. I’ll wait a few days and then hopefully they will be there. My issue is I haven t had any receipt from Motherwell for the tickets I bought but they have confirmed over a call I have paid for them and I have my seat numbers.

I can’t stand Hearts but I am delighted for them as I just want someone to challenge and topple Celtic. I don’t think they are particularly great or great on the eye but one thing they are is robust. Every one of their players is solid and they are not a team who look like they’ll keel over. Every one of our players looks like they are one game away from a long term injury but Hearts are a different animal…. Really solid group.

The refs here are scared to book McGregor. The guy should be in the book every week, horrible wee cowardly cheat. im watching this Hearts Celtic game and i find it annoying how we didn’t beat both of these bang average teams. For us to have been given Welsh and Celtic to play a scared looking 22yr old with 1 first team appearance is incredible. Welsh is miles better than what they have on view.

I would accept a draw right now and a clean bill of health for all the players for Saturday. id have slattery on the bench too and give him 30/40mins in the second half in prep for the semi final.

We’re lucky to have eyes though and a modicum of footballing knowledge to realise we are watching 100% better football than any of the statistical seasons above.
