What a performance from Kelly, outstanding.
We didn’t deserve that as I don’t think we had one shot on target? And I don’t remember a single chance we created but that is a massive 3 points.

I think he’s got a point. I thought the atmosphere at fir park lat week was brilliant until about 20mins in and then it was horrible, really unpleasant and at the end it was toxic….. and that was the main stand…. Folk hanging over the stand screaming and booing at players/managers/subs….. booing annoys the fk out me? I don’t understand it and it’s cringy seeing adults do it, unacceptable for a kid to boo never mind an adult.
i think Kelly did point out it’s up to players tho to make the fans get behind them and they haven’t done that. I think he sort of said that?
i don’t think Kelly said anything wrong and he’s 100% entitled to his opinion. I think some people are a bit sensitive. Players and fans just need to move on and hope our new manager gets something out these players.

As much as I’d love the hype of Big Dunc getting the job I just don’t see that happening.
i think Kevin thomson is a potentially good young manager but I think he’s too young to get anything out that group of players/charlatans we’ve gathered.
i think we need a guy to bring some enthusiasm and belief to that group and get the best out of them as we’ll not be buying any other players in the short term.Hughes does get the best out of players, players run through walls for him and he’s always been overly complimentary towards motherwell which makes me really like the guy and He’s been at dying clubs recently so I don’t think he can be judged on those. But he still gives me a massive fear.
Big Mixu has spoken about managing in Scotland again and I think the board would be interested in him but I don’t know if that’s a good appointment .
tam Cowan suggested Ian maccall which would mean my season ticket would remain in my drawer locked for the rest of the season so that’s a no from me.
id take Malky McKay but I don’t know if we could afford the compensation and it may have an impact on our Chinese/Jewish fan base lol
the board have a tough job.

if he’s fit, which apparently he is and is physically fitter than he’s been in a couple of years, I’d get him on a park to get match fit. Shields just is not going to do in my view.
Give him a 3 month deal and see what he does.

I get that they are trying to create an atmosphere but the behaviour is getting too much now, 99.9% of fans just want to go and enjoy the football without getting abused and threatened.
Couple that with officials getting pelted with items and its not good enough, it makes us look terrible as a club and will cost us money AGAIN.
it’s a disgrace Sligo fans felt like that, they seemed a decent bunch there to enjoy their side in Europe like most of our fans do.This type of stuff though will just have a knock on effect when our fans go over to Sligo. I’ve no doubt there will be issues due to the antagonising and the “hNs without bus fare songs/chants” during the game.
i do like some of the atmosphere the bois bring but at time they are immature pains in the ar5es. Oh to be young again

Absolutely appalling game. For us to play effectively a couple of bounce games only before that tie showed a total lack of professionalism and a lack of respect to Sligo and we got what we deserved. It could have been worse.
really great atmosphere at the start and it turned really sour at the end. (And the least said about singing in the chapel chant the better…. Utter disgrace, get a grip guys FFS, thought that was left behind in the 80s)
For me we showed nothing as a team, keeping possession in our own half and passing the ball about might make good reading on a stats table but means sod all when we show know ideas or drive to win a game of football. I still think we might get through next week but there was real damage last night and GA and his after match interviews are an absolute disgrace, the guy is lost in himself.
trying to put a minor positive spin on things, I thought Morris looks decent and mcginn looks capable. Really disappointed in spittal who looked done after 10mins and slowed everything down when he got on the ball, I hope he improves quickly. And a striker is 100% essential as there’s nothing up there when van veen isn’t fit.

I get why folk might not like it or are into retro kits but for me I think it’s brilliant. I was 8 when that came out and I had the full kit which I wore to death, as soon as I saw it On Twitter I just thought of me as a wean playing down the park with all the other kids wearing rangers tops and a few aberdeen ones thrown in. Proper nostalgia trip for me. Love it

I agree the shape of that team is ok but we need to bite the bullet and have van veen up front. As much as he frustrates, when he’s not there I just do not see any spark or matchwinner in that team. We have nobody that can change a game. Not one player. Watt could do it and van veen can…. When he’s in the right frame of mind.
id rather see him play in the hope he can add a spark rather than shields who I cannot see as a player, he can charge about but if you look at the times he can’t hold the ball up and loses possession it’s just not acceptable.

If he was Scottish he’d be destroyed by our fans every week.we’ve got the top six and have an outside chance of europe which is incredible. Hopefully we can show some fight in the final games and nudge ahead of united and county which is possible if that idiot puts the right team out. Onwards we go on the rollercoaster

Can’t deny how shit we have been and how miserable the past 6 months have been watching this Alexander team play but getting top 6 is fantastic for our club financially and we still have a chance of getting a European place,,which is utterly staggering.
it’s completely papering over cracks, but I’ll accept it tonight.-

100% Jack Ross. His teams play good attractive football and I think he’s been harshly treated at a couple of clubs.
unfortunately I don’t see GA being sacked or walking away.we have decent players in this squad which is the frustrating thing…. They all look lost and devoid of any idea of what they are meant to be doing.

The appointment probably makes a lot of sense, financially too. He’s a Club legend, loves the club, knows it inside out and knows what the fans are like.
i think everyone will be rooting for him so let’s see how he does.
he also must know what a good winger requires after coming up against so many, so hopefully he’ll source a good one…. Or two
