You just can’t make a snap judgement on a player without seeing him perform a handful of times in a Motherwell jersey.
If he’s rubbish we’ll find out soon enough but he also might be ok? Getting demented about this just now is mental behaviour-

Can’t argue with a 2-0 win even against that opposition at this stage of the season. A good professional job but we clearly need a few players, midfield is crying out for a couple of good recruits.
I feel like we have the right guy in charge right enough, feel more confident with SK at the helm that we’ll do ok.

Whatever it was it clearly didn’t work out and he looked hopelessly lightweight and out of his depth, even against Raith in the Cup.
I’m not sure he had much of a pedigree, he was young and had a few good months with an Australian b league team in a previous season, I think?
I remember looking it up at the time and posting on here about how wise it’d be to buy a young lightweight inexperienced player to fire him into a relegation fight and someone on here (I have no doubt it was some wean) copied and pasted my response to Twitter and how I was a dinosaur 🤣 at least I got a short period of Twitter fame and was eventually proved right 🤣 -

Yeah I’m never keen on playing the promoted side. They have been quite active on the signing front as well also with a new manager.
It’d be good to spoil their opening flag day right enough.
dundee first game of the season reminds me of the one at fir park when bonetti became their manager and they had all the South American players. Beautiful weather big crowd and They absolutely humped us that day.

cracking wee place right enough, has much more scenic splendour than motherwell/wishaw. Good luck to him if he goes, I think he’d do quite well in the English lower leagues.

I’m pretty convinced the add on would be Groningen getting promotion in their first season. We’d maybe get another £100k or so.
as much as KVV has talked well about motherwell etc etc I have no doubt he’ll want one last big pay packet and I can’t blame the guy. He’s been a lower league player all his days (apart from us I suppose if we look at the spl being a big league) and he’s had a proper incredible season. The likelihood of this happening again is slim even tho he is a great big player.
We need to take the money and let him go as imagine the huff he’ll be in all year if he stays and we knock back his chance of the discussed £10k pw? He’s a huffy big sod at the best of times so we may end up with a year of Sligo esq performances from him. -

Yeah you’re probably right, I think it was when I saw him in the championship he looked decent.

I see macron have produced a belter of a dundee kit for next season. Has some Dundee tartan on it. I’d add a link on here but I’m technically inept to do so. Quite like them to do the same with us.
