Campbell and bowman worked hard and did well yesterday and I appreciate the game may have been gone by half time but the game only came to life for me was when Bigi came on. I thought he was excellent and controlled the midfield. He’s a talented wee guy who probably hasn’t had enough chances this year.

For me any defeat for them is good, apart from the hearts game (can’t include sevco as that performance from them was pub team standard)they’ve stuttered in their final half dozen games. They have done since the invincible tag was removed. If you get a win or defeat the game before a final, there must be a psychological impact? we’re winning this!!

Apparently the kits are designed And they hope to be in the shop for cup final week? dont think it’s an easy thing to organise tho. if the new strips are ready I think it’d be crazy not to wear them in the final? I think what we’ve asked for ticket wise is fine. All Motherwell fans who want to be there will be there. in 2011 it was clear there was a number of rangers supporters there as I recall a number of poisonous chants all over the place and a Union Jack getting unfurled and then being swiftly removed. This is our final and wee don’t want it wasted by folk wanting to go just to shout bigoted bile to Celtic supporters. Burrows has done the right thing in my opinion!!

I’d like to think my comment after the semi final about bringing out a new kit prior to the cup final was what sparked us to get this done. however.... probably not!! my lad is buzzing now, birthday money spent on a new kit!!

Yip, absolutely disgrace of a referee. Shouldn't be welcome anywhere near Fir Park. I'm guessing we'll appeal that Red and it'll be rescinded. Whatever some of you say on this thread, this was not a red card. I missed the game and had to watch it on TV and everyone to a man agreed it wasn't a red. Andy Walker deemed Brown was pathetic and Stubbs and Mcinnes said it was injustice. Even Brenda after the game indicated it wasn't a red. Fantastic effort from the players today, incredible!!

If he never does anything else here, we'll always have the Pedro comment!! Outstanding. When he got the job i wasn't exactly enthralled by the appointment but i think anyone who denys he's not done a good job is clueless. We were in trouble at the end of last year and had quite a bit of ageing burdens running about in our team. His signings have been excellent and a breath of fresh air, getting to a final and punting Rangers out are massive highlights. We are still in with a shout for top 6 which i'd never have thought possible at season start. We're in a much healthier state than we were in this time last year and we have players who work their arses off and have a bit of talent about them. Much prefer watching these guys each week than the likes of Pearson or McDonald. keep up the good work Robbo

I'm not saying he didn't go on to have a great career? He did. What I was saying was prior to the arrival of cooper I watched Boyd fumbling about in the midfield being booed week in week out and a career that was going downhill? When he first started with us he looked a real prospect but it wasn't happening for him, probably as he was played out of position? However he was on the road to a big wave goodbye to a st mirren or Dundee? Instead cooper arrived and he was a revelation a left back!! He was brilliant for 2 yrs and deservedly moved to bigger things. Just saying football can be a game of luck and I think his luck came from the arrival of cooper. Something I've never heard him acknowledge?

100% agree!! Ive no doubt if Cooper hadnt arrived at fir park, Boyds career wouldve ended up mirroring the likes of fraser wishart!!
