There’s only one team wanting this tonight. I hate hearing boos at football games but this is appalling

I was all for changing the team but I don’t like dropping our only performing players. I’d even argue that spittal should be in before slattery and goss. It just seems he’s trying to shoehorn players like mcginn into that team on the basis that he thinks he’s a good utility player. I’d argue he’s not that great in any position Anyway it’s an extremely important game tonight, just hope to god we get a win….. a horrible 1-0 would do me now.

As much as it’s great to see the new players I’m pretty disgusted at the dropping of our only two performers lately. Johnson and mckinstry do not deserve getting dropped to the bench.

One thing about Stephen Robinson and his sides, horrible football but grinds out results. i wouldn’t mind a ground out win ….. soon

At least Oily Crankshaft looks interested and has a bit of spark. If we get anything it’ll come from him.

This is an appalling game of football. the general standard of Scottish top flight football has never been worse than it is now in my opinion. It’s eye bleeding

Good luck to Barry, I hope he gets regular games and I think he will do well in that league. I think he has ability and showed it for a spell last season but he just strikes me as a boy without that level of confidence you need to make it at a higher level.

Matt Penney offski. I have to admit I’m not that surprised or too disheartened. I think he looked good to start with, but then slackened off. It can’t be easy I suppose playing alongside our central defenders but his lack of defensive qualities started to appear and I think he’s been one of our poorer performers in the past month, possibly as he’d chucked it as he knew he was returning down south. I suppose it gives the new Irish guy a chance to come in and take the left back role. Touch wood he can defend.

Out of all the horror on show young max Johnston has been excellent. His distribution is good and his crosses into the box are dangerous, especially if we had someone driven enough to attack the ball.

If we were sitting mid table in no danger I think I’d feel positively about taking a punt on a young Japanese lad from their second tier league. however, a relegation battle might not suit a 5ft 8in slight looking midfielder. does wullie falconer still play? We could do with him.

It’s your dream as a striker to get the ball 8yrds out in the box and have defenders 6yrds away from either side of you …..standing static watching you. shocking

Only positive to take is seeing two 16yr olds coming on. Miller looks very comfortable considering his age.

When we create a chance it’s like we’ve just stumbled upon it, nothing is ever clean and tidy. We just don’t have anyone capable of creating anything, with shields up front I suppose it doesn’t matter anyway. but on top of that major issue an even more significant problem is how easy we lose goals. That was typical losing that goal, a bread and butter cross into the box and the fat Colombian knocks it in from 5yrds and then another bread and butter corner not dealt with. It wasn’t even a whipped in corner. pathetic

Right I’ve had enough, get this defence cleared out, absolute dross, stupid mistakes every week, out of position constantly, slow to react to everything, distribution appalling. midfield need a grafter urgently as well, totally pedestrian. Spittal goss slattery and mckinstry are absolute powder puff.
