gullane
Good piece of business. £400k for a class striker who cost nothing and bagged us 27 goals. Cheers Chris - see you in the Premiership one day.
GraniteCityMFC
Although I think maybe Killen?? Thoughts on that one? Won't be Killen, just on the radio that he is off on loan to Norwich. Any other ideas?

fat_tony
Sorry to see him go but he's been a great player and I wish him all the best. Let's hope there's a big sell-on clause in there somewhere!

Motherwell Football Club
Either its around the 400k mark with a sell on or its a bit less with a player coming the other way.
Rickoza
Sad to see him go, but glad I got to see his first and last appearances in a 'Well jersey. Thanks for everything, Chris, good luck!

Shaka
sad to see him go but good business and a ready made replacement in Sutton so couldnt be refused, all part of following the well. All the best Ports
Kmcalpin
Where did you get the fee from gullane? He's been a very good bit of business in any case. I wish him luck down there. Ditto. All we know is the fee has been described as "undisclosed". It could be anywhere between £30k and £380K with strings attached. What does seem reasonably certain is that Derby will pay us a fee. weesacs
the last phrase mentions him thinking the Championship isnt too different to what he's used to playing in. nice to hear, especially after all the criticism scottish football gets, and the praise the Championship gets
DC'd
Obviously with every new player arriving at a club, they have to suck up their arses a tad, a cheap way to get fans on side etc. But, never agreed with the following quote: the ground is better than anything I've played in before and I'm looking forward to it Now that is bollocks, Ibrox, Parkhead, Stade Marcel Picot anyone? Pride Park may well be an impressive stadium, but surely not on the same scale as the above mentioned 3. Not bothered, just a pointless thing to say really and not needed. Rickoza
Having been in Pride Park, aye it's a big stadium, but it's hardly better than the likes of the Old Squirm grounds! Just trying to fit in I guess.......
weesacs
i took it to mean what he would class as his "home" stadium. Meaning out of all the stadiums he's been based at, this is the best so far, cant argue with that really

Brazilian
If the transfer goes ahead in time (more wishful thinking than any rumour) Chris deserves best wishes for the future. He's been a model professional from a fans perspective, always put in the effort, never complained when it wasn't going his way but just knuckled down and got back on track. His goals were very valuable and enjoyable, but it was also a pleasure to see his contribution to the team, he might not have got MOTM every week but he would be well up for MVP in my eyes. I still think its not that fair valuation (please let there be a sell on clause!) and I still think the club has lost its way when it comes to maximising the asset return. But it was clear when he signed that our club was a stepping stone I just wish we had a business team that could negotiate longer term deals with clauses allowing players to move on earlier in the deal when a slighltly more substantial fee is offered (more wishful thinking ) But Thanks for the memories Chrissy Porter and all the best for the future, perhaps one day you'll want to come back and play alongside Faddy as mentioned somewhere above (dreaming now )
