fergi4 Posted February 2, 2015 Report Share Posted February 2, 2015 Sorry if I can't get excited as some by the signings,but this is the worst Motherwell team in my 50 years and apart from Pearson and long I can't see some guys from the English div 2 improve the standard. I think enough folk have tried to explain our level / buying power / ICT relative success with lower league etc etc. IB was Scout for long enough, he must be fairly certain these guys are better than what we have or they wouldn't be coming in. Rumours McManus was wanting to play on Saturday despite having problems but was dropped out of 16 for his performance against celtic. He was not happy at Friday's team meeting. Its fairly obvious thats who it is , the board wait until a confidential deal is almost done and then they get the phone out and ring Rab McKinnon before making their way through any still living former managers in alphabetical order , McCall wouldve known our business very early on.
