It certainly is. I'd have thought a short term contract somewhere would have made more sense from a playing perspective, even if that meant a lower league.

He's a good player so either its been an injury or more likely hes still looking for too much money, which hes unlikely to get, especially in Scotland.

Aye something isn't right cause he could pick up a club no bother but the fact he isn't on say a 6 month deal to January tells me he hasn't had as much offers as he is letting on.

6 months at maybe a Morton is better than nothing.

His thinking may be that being unattached to a team while the window is closed will present opportunities to him if clubs need to add someone due to injury. He also may be looking at countries wirh other transfer window schedules. 

If he's adamant he wants to play abroad, then fair play to him for sticking to his guns.

After seeing highlights of Halliday sitting on a couch with Paul slane commentating and celebrating all things Rangers, I now realise why he’s not had many minutes this season. I get the Rangers fan stuff etc but he’s still our player and we’ve just had a horrific result yesterday….. read the room man!!!
