With a combined average home attendance of over 70k the Hibs Celtic game at Hampden should be well and truly sold out.

Not sure what it says about our game that it isn't.

Hibs probably thought they were going to get horsed and therefore it put many off. Aberdeen have only recently started taken big semi final crowds. The Old Firm only care about the cups when they play each other. And even then once their opportunity to gloat has subsided do they rarely reminisce about the cup win of 1987, 2002 etc.

I think tomorrow will be our 10th semi final in the past 41 years in both cups?

1976 v Rangers, lost 3-2.

1985 v Celtic 1-1 and then lost the replay 3-0

1986 v Celtic 2-2 aet then lost on penalties

1987 v Rangers, lost 3-1

1991 v Celtic. 0-0 then won the replay 4-2.

2003 v Rangers, lost 4-3.

2005 v Hearts, won 3-2 aet.

2006 v Celtic, lost 2-1

2011 v Rangers, lost 2-1

2011 v St Johnstone, won 3-0

2017 v Rangers, ?????????

Have I missed any?

Yep, I do think Hibs would have taken a bigger crowd if it wasn't Celtic they were playing. The fact that they've been allowed to hold onto 10'000 unsold seats is an absolute shambles.

I dont mind the gaps tbh. Its bad enough that we have a Rangers and Celtic end at our national stadiums that we have to pamper to the bigoted cunts and give them majority of the tickets to make it like a home game.

Pains me to say it, but when more and more are choosing to park themselves in front of Skysports and watch the EPL shite, we shouldn't be turning people away who want to come to an actual game of fitba.

What would your rules be? Always max of 50/50 no matter how many empty seats are in one end?

If one club can't sell there allocation but the opposition can then they should recieve the remaining tickets, It's a no brainer. Why should fans be prevented from making the game, regardless of who the team is. Hated the sight of all those half and half scarves at hampden today.
