I didnt think the first one was a definite red. He does catch him on the ankle once the ball is away. But by the same token Fadingers v Rangers wasnt a whole lot worse, so some consistency would be nice. Slatterys though is embarassing. He may well have got a finger in the face (its impossible to tell from the poor camera footage) but it certainly wasnt enough contact to justify the reaction. I cant underdstand all this faux outrage at Slattery last night, if the match officials / Var team had been in any way competent the Red card would have been overturned and Slattery booked for simulation, diving, cheating etc but as the officials are all useless fuds he wasnt, so why blame the player, if it had happend at 0-0 to say win us a penalty and the game would we care, no chance we would. The officials had two major decisions to make last night and they made a James Hunt of both of them, Gogic was a red all day long and Kingstons wasnt even a yellow never mind a red.
