Yoshi-1991
The biggest thing that worries me is that it takes us about 30 working days just to decide what colour to paint the walls, by the time we appoint a manger the transfer window could be well into its last days.

stv
He's saw the players, saw the budget, saw what the budget gets him, saw Scottish football first hand then said iv made a mistake get me a job at home. Family health reasons etc etc, politicians and football managers use this excuse all the time. Smoke n mirrors he just didn't fancy being our manager.
Wellsince1976
Sorry, I`m not buying the family thing. Apparently this only surfaced when he went home to Germany after the County game....and low and behold he has a new job already.

Pettywulliegrew-2
from his New clubs website ……..with dodgy translation…. The SSV Jahn Regensburg has filled the post of head coach with Michael Wimmer. The 44-year-old football teacher takes over the head coach for the new season 2025/26 and has signed a contract in the cathedral city until 30.06.2027. Most recently, Wimmer, who came from Dingolfing in Lower Bavaria, worked for the Scottish first division team Motherwell FC. The new head coach of the SSV Jahn has been determined and is called Michael Wimmer. Together, the heads of the SSV Jahn and the native of Dingolfinger have agreed on a cooperation for the next two years. Sports Managing Director Achim Beierlorzer says: "Michael Wimmer has left a very good impression on us and quickly showed that with his ideas, ideas as well as his energy and personality he fits our expectations and our requirements for the new Jahn head coach. His teams want to act courageously and with high intensity and show purposeful football. His approach focusses on people and the team, which is why he also stands for the further development of young players. As a native of Lower Bavaria, he knows SSV Jahn well and identifies with the values and the game idea. He can and will be able to give our club a lot. I would also like to thank those responsible for Motherwell FC for the constructive approach that makes it possible for Michael Wimmer to take over the coaching office in Regensburg. Stonehaven'Well
He did the job that was asked of him, and he showed that the players could adapt and play in a different way to what we saw in the last days of Stuart Kettlewell. Its come as a shock as I was looking forward to seeing some fresh European talent coming in. No point in looking back, its up to the board to get on to the front foot and get the next manager in the door. All the best to Mr Wimmer. Of course he's had the new job lined up for maybe a few weeks and Motherwell obviously knew about it as we've agreed a compensation package. Nobody was going to announce it while we were still not safe from relegation were they. So why not ditch the conspiracy theories and accept he put his family 1st in a far more dignified and respectful way than Kettlewell did.
Spit_It_Out
Came in done a job for us I wish him well and we actually played some decent football under Wimmer so best of luck to him. Now the board can't be sitting on thumbs for weeks and weeks as we need to get a move on with transfers and such simple as that.
thewelllfan
It's got appointing Tony Docherty all over it. Won't go foreign again as we did and they left after 12 games. Will be a UK based manager most likely.

Seems like they all knew he was leaving except us the supporters , fair enough . No way this came out of the blue ,no chance. I would expect the board to have been working hard the last few weeks on a blue print to get a new manager in promptly . Knowing us tho they probably weren’t.
