I remember we had a similar routine under Ally McLeod where Willie Irvine and Brian McLaughlin would "argue" before Irvine flicked the ball over the wall for the man at the end to run on to. texanwellfan Posted July 12 Report Share Posted July 12 I thought AP was doing well. He controls and holds the ball well and as you said fullbacks not providing and good balls into the box for him to feed off. We need to be setting up chances for him. I also think Halliday and Slats need to be a bit more aggressive and start hitting some shots from outside the box.
