I actually thought I had gone to the wrong place - I hadn't but it was full by 6pm, the gates were closed when I turned up and there were also apparently issues with stock as well.

I wasn't turned away, I didn't ask to get in but some people were turned away - it was very busy by the sounds of it. The well society said they are going to try and rectify things by the official opening date

I assume its located on the spare ground at the unfinished end of the POD stand, if it is there is a distinct lack of signage.

Correct, Its in what was/is the memorial garden and Its the disabled fans entrance at the very end of the POD stand you use to access it but no signs up yet . I'm assuming that's something the Well Society will address as it confused a lot of people on Friday.

Sign will be up by the official opening. Well society posted on Facebook to confirm this

All the details were on the Society's web page (although it wouldn't hurt to have a sign)

Aye, I'm not sure where the confusion is, it was noted where it was every time they've used it.

Thought i would pop on to give some context and feedback on some of the comments

We are looking to have new signage in place for Kilmarnock for our Official opening for Mrs Baillies Bar around the stadium which will replace the current beer garden signage. Unfortunately the club can't obtain a licence for Rangers and Celtic games so these are the only games we foresee Mrs Baillie's bar being closed through the season.

It is our hope with added planned cover in the Fan zone that fans will start to view the bar as an extension of our Hospitality offering regardless of the weather, thus increasing matchday revenue for the club. We used the Hertha game as a test case to try things out where we actually hoped we would find some areas we can make smoother ahead of the Killie game at home .All in all it was a great opportunity to do this given the attendance we had on the night. I should thank the club staff here as well who have been a fantastic support to me and Sean leading up to the installation and throughout the night at the Hertha game in particular.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the club on the night of the Hertha game , I hope we can continue the fantastic pre match attendance going forward and i hope the society can continue to fund aspects of fan engagement opportunities that enhance the match day experience and provide new revenue streams into the club.

Thanks for your continued support

Greg

If anyone can't figure out the way because the sign only says Beer Garden on it they shouldn't be near alcohol and probably shouldn't be allowed out unsupervised.

There's always someone believe me!
