Be interesting to see our line up

Goalie? I think probably Ward

fullback? Will Johnny start

CB’s? Will new guy start? Gordon? O’Donnell?

midfield? Slattery back?

up front? Stama?

Slattery and McGhee will be out, as might McGinn and Hendry. I suspect TJ and Just might not start, given their international travels. A draw tomorrow with us again playing good football would send many, probably most fans home very happy indeed. Not me though. I want to see a win.

I think tomorrow will be a tough game and I think Dundee aren’t as bad as folk make out. Also they have one of the best forwards in the league who is murder to play against

add to the fact our best midfielder is out and our other best players have been travelling around the globe for a couple of weeks I’m now starting to feel less confident about our first win. I think I’ll be happy enough with a draw tbh.

I expect Just might not but TJ hasn't had as long a travel

Are McGinn and Hendry injured?

If McGinn is indeed injured.......

                   Ward

SOD Gordon Welsh Longelo

 Watt Priestmann Fadinger

Said Stamatelopoulos RCC

I imagine Just & Maswanhise will feature from the bench.

That’s probably about right, since he’s not dropping Ward yet and JT and Just have just returned, though I’m curious whether Johnny K will feature today.

My thoughts too, we need to get a win on the board especially with a tough run of fixtures coming up.

A draw today would have been okay had we managed to win either one of or both of our last two games - which we should have - but the longer we go without getting the first win the bigger the ‘monkey on the back’ becomes.

Sadly though I don’t see us getting anything better than a draw.

Everyone has their own footballing philosophy. There's a complete range from "win is the end all and be all" to "I want to watch entertaining football end of". I was never a fan of Alexanderball or Kettleball but was content enough with it so long as we were picking up wins. I really like JBA's style of football, as its very entertaining and good to watch but I'm not yet fully convinced it will be successful in terms of results. I'm onboard with it but still have an element of scepticism. Hopefully he can convert good football into points and take me that extra mile.

He's not long in the door; we have a swathe of new players settling in; and they are still adapting to his methods. So, its early days.  The support seems to be largely on board with his methods, but will it be if we don't get the results it deserves? Some seem to have gone overboard in support of our new style and thats fine up to a point.  Yes, its good to see our fans entertained and happy but we do need to start winning.

Today will be a real test against a team which, theoretically, is on a par with ourselves.  We should have beaten Sevco, Hearts and Kilmarnock and I don't want to add Dundee to that list. My hope today at Dens is that we add lethality up front and solidity at the back to our game.

Hopefully today Stama can get amongst the goals and then go on a good run. Plenty incentive as world cup next year.

Knowing us he will get a hat-trick but we will lose 4-3 due to Ward selling 3 goals. If Ward starts today which i think he will then this is last chance saloon

It's not last chance saloon as long as JBA wants to pick him
