wellup83
Would rather have faced Rangers 😁 All jokes aside, a great chance here to reach another final. COYW!!

And there is no way the police will let the OF kick off at that time on a Saturday so I think it’s nailed on to be Sat 1st Nov. It’s a good draw but losing to St.Mirren in a Semi Final would be ten times worse than losing to one of the big two. Nothing comes close to losing to Airdrie in a semi final (replay). All the others have been water off a duck's back, and a loss here would be no different.
Richie
Losing to St Mirren would be worse in terms of hindsight, but losing to the OF at Hampden can be excruciating. Guaranteed to be cheering someone on in the final at least

I think our game will be on the Saturday , would prefer a 3pm but have a feeling it will be 5:30 or 5:45 Anyway great draw , the one I was hoping for

It might not be Airdrie 1975(?) but it would still be a sore one to take.

Aye be sore one if st mirren beat us but i think we all would have wanted that draw

If we can’t have our ‘day in the sun(even though it will be mid-winter)’ then I don’t want any non OF club to have theirs.
mio
On watching the draw I had a wave of positivity, thinking what a great opportunity we have to reach a final. Something which has happened only a handful of times in my lifetime. I then come on here and feel like someone has just shat on my chips…. Cheers

Not any worse than the nonsensical S***e you post on here before every match. twistandshout1983
Great chance to get to Hampden Hopefully we get the win , and if we are in the final I would much rather play Rangers than play Celtic right now If we lose the semi final , I will support St Mirren against either of those two Glasgow mobs . Understand why people have a dislike towards St Mirren after their antics at Fir Park last season especially but anything they have done is nothing compared to having to listen to the bile of the OF

Realistically it is the best draw we could have hoped for at this stage as it gives us the best chance we could have hoped for to get to the final. And as I said last night we absolutely owe St.Mirren in a Cup tie so this would be perfect time to repay that debt so hopefully we send them, Robinson and their torn-faced boneheaded supporters slithering back along the M8 with their tails between their legs. I assume that common sense will prevail in terms of allocation and we get the East Stand for this one seeing as it would make no sense whatsoever in a geographical or practical sense for both supports to cross over each other and go to the far away end? Rangers and Celtic will both be playing better by November so St Mirren give us the best chance to proceed. Second semi-final in two years is fairly impressive. Beating St Johnstone away and Aberdeen away is no easy run to the semi final. On performance to date I think Motherwell go into the game as slightl favourites.
mio
I’d be hoping we get the North Stand like we did in the Aberdeen semi. At least we can get a decent view of the game rather than stuck miles away behind the goals

Absolutely 💯 , nothing to fear in this game St Mirren home or away down the years has always proved to be a tough game , but no reason why we can't win this game
