Fadi/watt were excellent again, and RCC got stuck in and has some of the cynical side that we need at times.

Thought the defence was solid enough, with the framework not putting a foot wrong.

I went with Said. I had him down as a tricky unpredictable winger, but he put in a great shift in midfield, and is so good at taking the ball in and opening up some space.

Agreed. Thought he had a great game. Retains possession well and always tries to go forward. Just need to refine his final pass and the timing of it for me.

RCC for his goal but also for his overall effort, I may (did) have a go at the TV when he missed his first half chance but as a forward player he's dangerous and IMO offers more than most of our forward thinking players.  He's doesn't fall apart in the box which bodes well for the future.

When I look through our team with players like Walsh, Watt, Fadinger, Maswanhise we have real quality and that's before we start adding back Just, Slattery, Sparrow and Priestman.  Must be the best quality we've had in a long time.

With a bit of luck on our side could be a cup winning team.

Some really good performances today.

Welsh was very good, as was Longelo. Stama put in a power of work again but really needs to get the monkey of his back and convert a chance or two.

RCC had a really good game and would have been easy to give it to him for rhis goal alone.

However, went for Watt. Another absolutely outsranding performance from him, all the more impressive because he makes sit look so effortless. Henis my surprise package of the season as he came in with pretty much zero expectation.

I might change my mind when I watch it back, but I didn't think his first half miss was all that bad. The keeper spread himself well, and knocking it over or past him from that range at the speed he met the cross, on his weaker foot, would've taken quite a finish.

Agree - at the time it felt like a must score moment - I thought the same with Said when he ballooned over the bar.

rcc in first half should go down to great save by the keeper
