Few Bluenoses in work today claiming we can get a result as they are p*sh

They wouldn't be paying any attention to us of course any other time

Must admit playing Celtic I would prefer if both their players and fans were going in thinking this is an easy 3 points , and with all the negativity going on there doesn't seem like it .

Just have to approach it with a positive mindset .  I will take a 1-1 just now

Celtic have now failed to win their last two games and they will get a hounding from their supporters and the media over the next few days.

Cue the backlash on Sunday.

We were never scoring until their keeper, aided by the conditions, fumbled Johnny K’s effort into the net. I enjoyed and celebrated the win as much as the next Well fan but we definitely got lucky because up until then we didn’t look like scoring.

Well if we use that approach, the other side of the coin is our goalie making mistakes meaning we were unlucky against hearts and Killie.

Yes that’s absolutely fair comment. And that’s why winning on Saturday was all the more satisfying because we had been on the wrong side of goalkeeper errors in those games.

But looking at our team we are badly lacking up front. AP needs at least half a dozen chances before he converts one and his first touch always seems to let him down. Even RCC was guilty of a poor miss at Pittodrie the previous week before he scored his worldy. Maswanhise is our talisman and our best hope of converting opportunities if we’re being honest.

It’s a frustrating one because if this team had a KvV, Moult, Bair or first spell Tony Watt then chances are we would be sitting with far more points on the board from the games played so far.

Not really concerned about Jens going. When he was appointed some of our fans were going - who the hell is he - how's that?

I personally think he's in it for the long haul but you can disagree if you like

If JBA turns us into a stable, top-six possession side by the end of the season, he’ll inevitably be poached. That doesn’t mean game over though. It means we’ve built that identity, and the job is simply to bring in another manager to continue it. I trust the new Chairman to do exactly that.

The trajectory is now set regardless of who’s in charge. The aim obviously isn’t winning the league every year. It’s stability, entertaining football, European qualification, and a decent cup run or two.

At the meet the manager event it felt like Max Rogers is JBA's successor when the latter moves on....as he will.

Not too much we can do about it at the moment except hope things start to click and if not hopefully our defence will hold up. Welsh is helping in that respect but no use for this game.

No clue who Max Rogers is so I don’t know if that’s a real option or a joke that’s over my head

He's our assistant manager who, in the Meet the Manager session, said he also wants to play the same style of football and has ambitions to be a manager.

I definitely thought that whilst watching.

He was hand picked by the club so isnt Jens man.

Wouldnt be a huge surprise, albeit, Im always a bit warey of a no.2 being promoted to manager.

I think its called Malpas Syndrome!

Shame Max looks a bit like Malpas as well. Thats not gonna help my phobia!

Celtic fans are currently hounding their board anyway due to the perceived lack of investment over the summer and their Champions League exit.

The last 2 games wont have helped their mood, but its not going to have any influence on where their support is at in general.  And where the support is at will have a much bigger influence on the teams performance than 2 bad results.

Lets not try and pretend this Celtic team is anywhere near peak Rodgers. If we play to our best we have a very good chance in this game. Lets concentrate on that and ignore Celtic for once.

We’ll not be losing this game, that Celtic side is becoming poorer by the week, they have a manager working his ticket out of there, they have a reliance on players who are getting too old and a fan base who are becoming even more toxic than the other lot in the other side of the city. If we can play as we can and how we did v hearts we will do fine.

Malpas's time in charge could be described as being No.2!!  Ba boom

We will miss having Welsh at the back so it will be tough for us on Sunday. Even with Celtic below par this will most likely be our hardest test of the season so far. Even if Just is available again, he’s just recovering from injury amd probably a bit rusty. Slattery still out, so we are down by 30% on starting outfield players. Having said that, the team is still capable of putting up a good show but will it be good enough to take 1 or 3 points ? If there are no silly mistakes in defense and if we pick this week to improve on converting our chances we might just come away with a point or three!  COYW!!!!

It is.

But we have McGinn back, so that should soften the blow a little.

Id be more concerned with Balmer partnering Gordon.

Sounded like it may be more than McGinn back too, depending on late fitness assessments.

If McGinn isn't ready to start, I'd be more inclined to have Johnny K, SOD, Longelo and Gordon as the back 4 rather than put in Balmer - but I'm sure JBA has already figured out what he wants,
