texanwellfan Posted yesterday at 05:26 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 05:26 PM Do we start McGinn or Gordon? Might depend on what Utd attacking players are like? I don’t really know much about them. Kotroumbous or O’Donnell ? does Slattery start? If so, who drops out? we had some below normal Performances at Livi but I’m hoping it was the surface amd that our players are back to firing on all cylinders. I would definitely start Gordon on Saturday so maybe best giving him and Welsh another run out together. Johnny K or SOD another tough call. Keep Slattery on bench for this one but possible start on Saturday for maybe Said?
mfc Posted yesterday at 06:07 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 06:07 PM Gordon was poor at livingston so there's every chance mcginn might come in,we really need to start getting a settled backline playing together whatever happens. texanwellfan Posted yesterday at 09:03 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:03 PM I hope we find our scoring touch for this one. I think we will fair better against teams who play open football amd so we might create a good few chances but we will need to convert as Utd might score a couple as well. could be a high scoring game. I like the sound of 4-3 for us !

weeyin Posted yesterday at 09:39 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:39 PM My favourite quote was when Iain Ferguson was talking about the Dundee Utd jinx of always losing in the final. "I don't believe in jinxes, but I hope it continues".
couttsy
Team selection will be very interesting tonight! In terms of resting players to make sure they're ready for Saturday I'd be inclined to only rest 1 or 2, would deffo rest Longelo, as I think he's critical to the way we play and the alternatives at LB are terrible. I'd also be tempted to rest Watt as I think he's the only one in that midfield that we couldn't really replace if he were to get a knock tonight. Would we all take a loss tonight if it meant winning on Saturday? I suspect most would, but lets hope we can win both!

The league is so tight and we need wins to progress up the table. A win tonight and Saturday please COYW
texanwellfan
I’m ok not resting players we haven’t been overloaded with games yet so get them on there
Orinoco
five changes. out goes AP, Longelo, Said, Just & Gordon. Surprised Gordon is out given Utd are Giants.
grizzlyg
Big move to make so many changes but still a good line up, chance for players to stake a claim
MJC
Five changes tonight! McGinn, Johnny K, Hendry, RCC and Slattery all in. Big gamble there but I can see why with Saturday in mind.

weeyin
I also think JBA made changes because he was pretty unhappy with the performances from a number of the starters on Saturday. Nice to have some options again.

Johnny K and SOD both starting, so likely one of them switches flanks. Unless McGinn takes that slot and SOD goes central. Or something else...

AllyMax
Think Maswanhise is on the tramadol tonight. Caught sleeping a couple of times with balls to him, then gets in the way of his own player. On a side note, they're a fuckin' dirty bunch. Edit - Classic me 🙂 Criticize someone who scores 5 mins later 😄
