McGinn was phenomenal today, played at a level I didn’t think he was capable of. He got my vote but Welsh was outstanding as well.
to be fair, they all put in a tremendous shift, a few were a bit off if I thought, longello, slattery but they worked their ar5es off and I can’t complain too much.

I'd be happy (but surprised) if we can keep Welsh until the end of the season.

It's a double edged sword taking good players on loan. We benefit in the short term, but if they do well, they often get re-called by their parent club in the first window.

0-0 A clean sheet and keeper really didn't have a save. So it has to be a defender. Toss up between Welsh and McGinn. Went for McGinn.

Keeper has had zero saves against Hearts and Hibs, although our players have cleared two off the line

Thought Just had a really good game and had he finished that chance he would have been my pick.

However, Stephen Welsh was absolutely outstanding. Both defensively and bringing it out from the back.

We really need to try and get him on a PCA in January.

I gave it to Just because he’s such an intelligent player and genuinely a joy to watch. That said, I could easily have given it to Welsh for the stability he brings to the system and the quality he shows playing out from the back. Our number one priority should be trying to sign him permanently or bringing in someone similar.
