Was thinking that suddenly moving the league game to Sunday 15th not ideal as we now only have 3 days between that and cup tie, same applies to Aberdeen though

Can the clubs agree to move it back to the Saturday?

No chance.

I don’t know. Celtic don’t look like getting back in this game, Hearts and Hibs are already out, you wouldn’t back Rangers to go all the way given their tendency to choke in domestic games. And us? I don’t see us beating Aberdeen and I certainly don’t see them winning it two years in a row. Sometimes being a good ‘Cup team’  is enough to get you over the line and St.Mirren have already shown that they are a good Cup team this season.

Watching Dundee, with 3 minutes to go and needing to hang on, and the keeper kicks it long for Celtic to immediately win it back.

I'm thinking, "play it short and keep possession!"

Should have listened to me

Well shite!
I mentioned score to the wife a few mins ago and she said they’ll get a penalty. I said”No! That’s rangers. With Celtic they just play till they score”.  What can i say. 5 mins added amd goal at +7

You do know that it’s a ‘minimum’ of time added on don’t you? That means that extra seconds/minutes are added on when the ball goes out of play or substitutions are made. Hence longer stoppage time than the initial minimum allocated time.

Yes I do know that.

I’m calling this right now. St.Mirren are going to win the Scottish Cup and complete the double this season.

I doubt if they'll win it but they'll certainly be in the mix. A very good cup team. They can grind out wins, turn up on big occasions and have that invaluable quality needed to win cups - good luck.

If we don't win it, I could not care less who does. I prefer it's not one of the OF, as their fan meltdowns have added to the entertainment this season, but they will still be favourites.

Every team bar one, however, is going to lose.

Each to their own, but for me it’s bad enough that St.Mirren have won the league cup this season without them adding the Scottish Cup to that and getting a double.

It’s annoying enough that we’ve gone 35 years without a major trophy without St.Mirren winning three in the last 13 years and with the manager who led us to two finals in the same season but failed to lay a glove on the opponents in both games.
